Next Possible Story POV Selection

I'll probably start writing the next story sometime in the next week or so, but this poll is to help me decide if I want to change some things up or not for the story.
And for some background, the main protagonist will be royalty in a fantasy-medieval plane in which a system comes in and changes everything, followed immediately by invaders trying to take over the plane.
This poll overall is to decide whether the main protagonist will be male or female, and if I should write the story in first or third person.

Be interesting to see female perspective in one of your worlds and it might pose an interesting writing challenge compared to your normal writing.
