Making a hitlist for 1.9 a.k.a 'Which parts of LL / LLE suck?'

As you all know, after 1.8 is finished the 1.9 update is going to focus on improving the state of the mod overall.

You can help me!

I need to make one big list of every little thing we don't like in LL / LLE.

Bad art? Bad animations? A long-ignored bug? A piece of writing that seems weird or off or incorrect? Something thats missing but ought to be there?

List it here! Let me know!

I'm going to create a big document tracking everything that needs to change in LLE. This suggestion box is not for suggesting new content, just listing existing content thats kinda bad.

Quirks/items that do undisclosed effects are annoying. Please list prevent the information so the player can decide whether to keep/remove effects.

Lewdify all enemies. I don't even want a fight without sexual shenanigans. Replace skeletons with "infected" guys you can label as unholy. That's my two cents, love the mod, keep it up!

Mod is great, a lot of love, work and sweat poured into it. I think vanilla guys rework would be nice, cause when a battle is called orgy and then you see ladies get whacked in the skull it's kinda sad

Goblin Empress doesn't have any narration lines, so it's missing those if you have subtitles on. You're not supposed to hit the Gargoyle while he doesn't have someone grabbed. It's like the swine prince fight - there are bark bubbles that pop up to explain this mechanic. :) Unfortunately there's very limited text box space when it comes to pregnancy descriptions, so it's a bit of a juggle between flavour and mechanics when it comes to filling those out. I'll try my best in 1.9 Lots of folks have reported the 'Beast Lover' quirk being far, far too common from that fight. It's known, and I'll get right on that, thank you. Shambler animations have already been fixed as of 1.73 :)

I don't know if it's a personal problem or not, but for me the Goblin Empress boss intro lines aren't showing up when loading the map. It's just a string of code. On the other hand, I'd say the Priestess boss fight is hard because of the Gargoyle AoE attack while it's not grabbing someone. Some quirks and pregnancies aren't really clear on what they do, and I don't really want to go open up the wiki every time I get a quirk I don't remember it's effects. I could say the same for some interactions between curios and items, but it's less of a problem than the quirks and pregnancies. Perhaps some explanations in the game index could help? The quirk "beast lover" absolutely loves to show every time I fight a dog, and the Shambler's spawns don't have their grabbing animations: it grab a heroine then nothing. The Shambler's spawn doesn't show the heroine being captured. The game doesn't crash either so it's not exactly a problem per se, and more a nuisance. Could be a personal problem as I am playing with modded classes but I thought I should mention it. Apart from that, I can't think of something else.

I've played alot of Lustiest Lair and I love it, however I do have opinions on what 'kinda sucks' about the current content. Firstly, and I think this is the most irritating thing, the Priestess Bossfight as is almost suicidal to attempt, the Gargoyle's aoe mass damage/lust/stun is absolutely unmanageable and the only way to not sustain casualties is to pray that someone gets grabbed quickly. I really like the mimics, but oftentimes I just feel cheated out of loot as the rewards for the fight are not comparable to what would be in a chest and in my two playthroughs I haven't gotten a single funny mimic trinket. I feel like pregnancies and acquired quirks are way too common, it feels like every other attack gives a new pregnancy and the Demoness Slaver random fight often feels like it just instantly impregnates most of a party every time. Similarly it feels like a fighting hounds makes one virtually guaranteed to get the corresponding quirk. Overall I'd prefer the power of the trinkets to be more in line with the vanilla game as alot of them are quite absurd, main offenders being the bestiary and the holy trinkets. While most other bossfights feel about rightish (granted the accursed one always feels like a weird fight) the Slaver Queen on level 5-6 dungeon runs feels a bit overtuned, oftentimes feeling almost impossible to make progress against. Again, I really love this mod, but it has some design choices that do not vibe with me.
