There are several lines throughout the series that mention how bad McKinley is as an educational facility (particularly when it comes to Special Education (is it even called that anymore?) or IEPs re: Becky Jackson) but one of the biggest indictments of McKinley is Brittany's failure to graduate. She had a 0.0 - an amazing feat as a SENIOR. I mean, did they just push her along because Sue said so? And ... what? Sue decided not to push it because then she'd get to keep her best dancer? (Which, now that I say that out loud, tracks perfectly). The fact that she's an MIT certified genius speaks volumes to the lack of resources for kids who are neuro-divergent (Brittany was on track to not graduate AGAIN). So having a non-Spanish speaker teaching Spanish is totally on brand for McKinley. Especially if you consider MOST of the school budget went to Sue's Cheerios.

Its interesting to know why i can't ever forget the stupid jingles from adverts I saw over a decade ago. Really fascinating, I like learning these kind of facts. Feel free to drop that big brain knowledge anytime I genuinely love it. While not the strongest episode, I still like it and i loooove ricky martin being in this episode. He was one of my sexual awakenings as a kid when I first saw his living la vida loca music vid hahha. I cant believe chris didnt actually find him attractive thats soo funny cause ive always found Ricky soo attractive, but hey, everyone's taste is different. Also nice catch with the Santana grabbing thw marker twice. I've never noticed that!
