You asked a few episode ago if Idina Menzel and Lea Michele were friends, and I don't think they are THAT close. I remember back in the day Idina said she was frustrated when they asked her to be Rachel's mom as she just had gotten a baby, and was closer to being Rachel's sister than mother. But a job is a job and she loved it. But Lea, in a podcast, recently said she, of course, was a fan of hers. And when Lea was in Spring Awakening and Idina was in Wicked, Lea would go to the same yoga place as her just to meet and talk to her (just like a crazy fan). She always looked up to her, and she was giving her some great advice. Lea recently asked her to leave a voice message for her son, as Elsa from Frozen, and she did of course (she even sang Let it go lol). Lea seems to be closer to Kristin Chenoweth, as in the same podcast she referred to her as a "rock" and someone she still, to this day, call to get advice. She also invited her to sing "For good" with her at a concert back in the day. Definitely worth a watch : https://www.youtube.com/watchv=1e2ykf3HaF0&list=RD1e2ykf3HaF0&start_radio=1 here is the podcast in case anyone's interested, it's actually quite refreshing to hear her talk about glee and give us some private details we never knew. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zGm6xqyu3c&t=3326s

Funny enough, Darren Criss actually asked Lea Michele to sing this song at his wedding in 2019 (a few years after it aired in the show). He also asked her to sing "Paradise by the dashboard light" (covered at the end of season 3) as a duet at his wedding. You can find a short clip here : https://www.tiktok.com/@dailydoseofdarren/video/6867871705994513669 They've been really close since meeting on the show, and Darren also sang at her wedding, the same year. They also said they were the "last man standing" at eachothers wedding, went on to do a bunch of tours together, and even did a "carpool karaoke" together 2 years ago. You can find it on Apple TV (or maybe somewhere else idk) if you want to watch it https://tv.apple.com/ai/episode/lea-michele--darren-criss/umc.cmc.sx2an5ytlj4zd4pxqc827t24?showId=umc.cmc.2wyy7chw6bmy46fekqlqq1ulb They sing some glee + broadway + solo songs. I also think you should check out their tour videos together as they have some beautiful duets they've shared over the years :)

2025-07-24 15:42:30 +0000 UTCAt the Anti-Prom Party, the table that Rachel is standing in front of has nothing on it but the Room Service menus. But, after Becky calls Kurt gay, Puck says "I second that" and a black purse is seen on the table. In the choir room when Finn and Rachel are about to kiss, you can see Tina and Mike sitting, but when the camera turns to Will they hadn't reached their seats yet.*The start of the episode before Will enters the scene is like bloopers; Joe and Rory spinning in chairs, Santana hitting her butt then touching Mercedes's face, Sam standing on a chair in the background. When Becky is narrating about Queens, she looks at Finn and Quinn's poster. When the camera zooms out, their poster is completely different. In Prom-asaurus, Becky was hoping to become queen of the senior prom and seemed to believe that she could run for it. This must have meant that she was a senior in Season Three. However, Becky does not graduate until the episode New Directions in Season Five, which means she can't have been a senior at that point. A possible explanation could be she had to repeat her senior year. A cameraman being visible during the scene between Finn and Blaine. Big Girls Don't Cry has different arrangements in the TV and Studio Versions, especially in the chorus where Kurt sings the first part and instead of Blaine having one solo in it and Rachel having the other, they both sang the parts together. However, most songs featured on the show are like this. When the episode aired in the UK, during the scene where Santana and Quinn are counting votes, part of Santana's line ..."being a crip and all" was cut. In the promo for this episode, Puck says, "Fan-friggin'-tastic." When the episode aired, he simply says, "Fantastic." In the episode, both Finn and Blaine are wearing parts of clothing which they wore again in The Break-Up. Blaine wore his black vest, and Finn wore his blue striped shirt. This is the second time Finn wore his blue striped shirt in a Prom Episode, the first time in Prom Queen. Quinn and Puck are the only seniors who don't have their photos taken.
