I honestly think Mercedes was just checking in with Santana ... much the same way Brittany does when they pass each other.

2025-08-27 17:43:30 +0000 UTCTo the "she could deny it" : I think, at this point, denying it would feel inauthentic (to her) - her acceptance of herself has been a hard fought battle and denying who she is would be a huge step backward. It would also be a slap in the face to Brittany, who's been quietly nurturing, supporting, and loving Santana for years, patiently waiting for Santana to be ready. Denying that she's gay means denying that she's in love with Brittany and I think hurting Brittany is, at this point in their relationship, the one thing she's tired of doing. The one thing she absolutely doesn't want to do anymore.

2025-07-16 17:04:51 +0000 UTCLike you, Audrey said our opinions are based on our life experiences, and during the time I was watching glee (the very first time) I was in high school and I was frequently being bullied not in a physical way but, verbally abusive... mean girls that loved being the center of attention and they didn't care the consequences ... Luckily I never had a break point in my attitude or felt like giving up my life but I had to learn to fight in the same way they talked to me so that, they let me the hell alone and they realized I was not afraid of them. So, when I started to see how mean and abusive Santana was I can say that I hated her, I hated her character and how she got to say wherever she wanted and nobody, teacher, classmates, or the director himself told her anything, she never has a consequence for the way she talks to the people and it really made me mad...because I felt that it was the same situation in my school. I hated my bullies so idk if any of them are part of the community right now but I can say that wouldn't have made any difference for me... I do believe that Finn acted in the wrong way because he was mad and that's not okay... But I don't think that Finn was the one the outed her because she had a looot of scenes near Britney hugging her, holding her hand, in the episode before they had a date, and also Britney had already said that Santana played for the other team... people just forget about that
