It just seemed inconsistent. Glee is enough of a fever dream, but this went completely off the rails. They did the Unholy Trinity dirty. Quinn was amped up to be insane, Santana was just mean (not her usual, creatively snarky self), and Brittany was made into an idiot. I'm not sure how she's supposedly completely clueless yet manages to throw in the phrase, "I don't really want to be known as a quitter. Doesn't my presidential campaign need continuity?" The damn episode needs continuity. It's also super creepy to think about Shelby and Puck. It doesn't look as strange on screen because the actors are adults, only about 10 years apart. It would be a lot creepier if he were an actual 18-year-old, and Quinn could probably place that call to child services.

2025-05-17 06:21:13 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to writing an episode of a TV show while only one or two people are credited to writing the episode they still have a lot of writers who come together to help with the script. Its hardly ever literally one or two people who work fully on the script. There might a few exceptions here and there for different episodes but they do typically have a room full of people working on the script. That being said I will say I do find myself skipping or not watching this episode as I do find it to be a weak episode. I also don't really like Damian McGinty's acting either. I remember being shocked when he won because I always thought of all of them especially the top 4 that he was the weakest. Then again they never had an acting episode in season 1 of the Glee Project which was also a really bad mistake on their part as then they probably could've seen that a head of time.
