So I didn’t get a chance to add a note about the episode so I hope you see it now: During this episode, Rachel and Finn have different scenes together throughout New York. In the opening number of season 5, Rachel sings “Yesterday” by The Beatles. She walks around the city and visits the places they went together. It was a tribute to him be for the actual “Quarterback” episode.

But the thing that annoys me every time I see it - Will flew them to NY planning to sing original songs that hadn't yet been written or choreographed. What has he had them doing since regionals? And then he left them unsupervised to work on songs on their own when they had what a day to do it? And then they placed 12/50 which is honestly probably better than they should have considering all of that and acted like it was the end of the world and they would have won without the kiss. This was a not a good setlist and not a good approach to a competition.
