When I was a kid I was petrified after reading Bunnicula but I think that's about it. I get more scared when I can see it, but when it's written (whether by me or someone else) I am good with all of the horror, gory, scary crap.

2025-04-06 07:29:13 +0000 UTCI've never read a "scary" book/fanfics, but I've read books/fanfics that were disturbing/creepy that I either wish I never read them and or i had to stop halfway through and decided not to finish it

2025-04-05 03:17:00 +0000 UTCNot horror, and not me, but I watched my cousin read Game of Thrones through her fingers (like she was trying to hide from it) for the Red Wedding. This was pre show, and I hadn't read them at the time and thought she was nuts. When I saw the show, that moment came back to me and she confirmed that was what she was reading.

2025-04-04 13:47:37 +0000 UTCI definitely donβt read or watch anything from the horror genre. Just not my thing. But Little Women is my favorite book even though my first name is Beth and Iβm so much like her and she dies. Itβs funny, Little Women makes me like my name while Beth (Glee Cast Version) make he hate it. So I go by my middle name. π€£

2025-04-04 00:17:11 +0000 UTCI have the book but haven't read it yet. I've seen the movie though. Which, I didn't really find all that scary. More unsettling. I'd say the behind the scenes things that happened while filming that movie are scarier than the movie itself.

2025-04-03 20:30:56 +0000 UTCA little life! Itβs not scary in a horror way but in a horrific sad dark way. I was reading it at a CafΓ© once and I got to a part where tears were just running down my face that I had to leave and had multiple sobbing sessions at home tooβ¦Great book though but read the trigger warning if you ever decide to read it. I also saw a play about it that was filmed at the London theatre. Beautiful work of art in the worst way possible π

2025-04-03 13:57:48 +0000 UTCI've never been so scared of a book that I'd put it in the freezer no π But I HAVE read plenty of scary books, including The Shining. Btw, SPOILER: When Joey is "spoiling" it for Rachel, he references the sisters in the hallway and the "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy" line. However, neither of them appear in the book.

2025-04-03 11:14:22 +0000 UTCO never really got soo scared of a book that I'd have to "put it in the freezer" I always had to finish a book if im really into it. I remember a goosebumps one as a kid that I almost didn't finish cause I had nightmares about it lol. I've also had movies I wish could be put in a freezer. One in particular that I had awful nightmares about for a week.
