Imagine All is Fair in the hands of someone more talented. Like with Melissa McCarthy and Poor Unfortunate Souls. Sure, Gal was competent. But when we're talking about a $250 million movie, why are we settling for competent? I'm sorry to say that I'm the movie, her acting feels the same as her singing. You want more.

2025-04-30 15:23:58 +0000 UTCIt’s funny you mentioned Tangled because the male love interest singing in Princess Problems a thief/bandit, like Flynn Rider, and Snow White is a princess like Rapunzel. So there’s some similarities. They got rid of the Prince character.

And, I do think there is something missing in Gal Gadot’s singing but I also feel that she did her best with such a cast.

2025-03-17 14:08:18 +0000 UTCHey Audrey, thanks for the great reaction. However, the songs you reacted to were not order. So, here is what happens with as less spoilers as possible. So, the setting is placed with Good Things Grow were we are when Snow White was little and her parents were still there. However, as we move on with the song and the story, the reprise of the song (Villager’s Reprise) is transitioning us to the current times with the Evil Queen and the current Snow White. Then, things happen and she wishes things could change and that there was a way of making her father’s wish come true again (Waiting On A Wish). But, one day, the Magic Mirror tells her that the Queen is no longer the fairest of them all and that is now Snow White. Her fear now true, she orders the Huntsman to take Snow White to the forest, kill her and bring back her heart to her. He goes with her to the entrance of the forest, warns her of the Queen’s intentions and tell her to flee deep in the forest. We move on a bit later to the forest scene and she falls asleep on the dwarfs beds in their cottage. Just after the dwarfs come back form work (Heigh-Ho) and discover her. We then come back to what is happening in the kingdom and she discovers that she is still alive and she is not happy with the Huntsman actions and she comes up with another plan (she has her villain song, All Is Fair). We are now back to the back to the cottage where Snow White and the dwarfs are cleaning it (Whistle While You Work). Things happen and she encounters the man form the village (Afterwards, the prince) and they have an interaction where he tells her to come back because she can’t do anything secluded in the forest (Princess Problems). The night comes and the dwarfs come back from work and they have a little party with Snow White (The Silly Song). The following day, she encounters back with the man (A Hand Meets A Hand). We are back to the castle where the Queen transforms herself into an old hag and puts her plan into action (All Is Fair (Reprise)). Then, a lot of things happen. Finally, Snow White decides that this is time to come back to the kingdom and put things in order (Waiting On A Wish (Reprise)). So, the villagers help her with her plan (Snow White Returns). Things end up well and as the book was opened, it closes with a final reprise of Good Things Grow (Finale).

With Gal I was worried too! 😂 I listened to her song first and was overall pleased hopefully the scene really hams it up especially with the reprise. I want all the creepy sound effects and set pieces from the original to enhance the song.

2025-03-15 14:15:54 +0000 UTCIt just feels like a lot of remake burnout by people. Plus add on some people hate Rachel as a person, some hate Gal because of personal beliefs. Then when you add on to the fact they were changing the story of Snow White and casted people who aren't white to play the roles and it feels like this movie was always meant to make people angry. I wish Rachel well at playing Eva Peron in Evita. I kind of hope for her mental health she takes a break from movies and just does stage work. At least the theater community will be kinder to her. Or I hope so at least.

And the people that like Rachel hate Gal for her political and moral beliefs that are VERY opposite of Rachel’s. So like idk who’s going to see this movie besides people that go see everything Disney puts out and kids. Like not in a hater way or anything cause I’m sure the movie itself will be a fine film. But like genuinely i don’t think I’ve seen one positive thing about it or that anyone has said they are going to I mean they even told press not to come to the premiere. It’s just a very confusing rollout and Disney is just letting these two woman take the fall instead of protecting its employees. Idk I’m waiting anxiously to see the response when it’s released because it would be such a shame if it flopped. As a fan of Rachel I’m happy to see her move on to brighter days as she’s playing Eva Perón in Evita on the West End very soon ❤️

However, there will always be the corner of the internet that are hating on her. Especially Trump supporters because she made an angry tweet once he won the election. The hate makes me sad, but it won't stop me from supporting the movie.
