This is the only hour long episode in the whole show, which makes it also the longest episode at 57 minutes. Something I wish they did more of. In Born this way the song, Kurt is wearing a red cardigan that was last seen in the episode furt, when he left McKinley. This episode marks his return. It’s also home to the longest Kurt solo at five minutes and the only Quinn and Rachel duet in the whole show. Also, Rachel wanting to get a nose job is in reference to Lea Michelle always having been told that she would have to get a nose job if she wanted to be successful in the entertainment business. Another example of glee liking to mirror the actors real life. Finally, this episode gave birth to the best glee merch; the iconic white T-shirts with black lettering.

2025-02-16 12:28:17 +0000 UTCThroughout this episode, many characters make reference to Rachel's nose being a result of her Jewish heritage (an antisemitic stereotype), and contrast it with Quinn's perfect nose. However, in their real lives, Dianna actually is Jewish, while Lea is not (she was raised Catholic). Goofs: When Lauren is talking to Quinn about Quinn's past she doesn't know what Quinn's old nickname was, and Quinn tells her. However, on the poster Lauren had already has, Quinn's old nickname is on it. Santana accuses Brittany of not having reciprocated the "I love you" previously, but Brittany actually did say it in the earlier conversation. When Blaine and The Warblers sing Somewhere Only We Know, at about 1:25 into the performance you can see Brittany step down the step twice as the Warblers give their goodbyes to Kurt.
