This is the last time we see Terri until season 6 except for maybe a flashback scene, and Holly Holiday until season 5. This episode also marks the final appearance of Sandy Ryerson. The actor who plays Sunshine has transitioned since glee ended and goes by Jake now. Also, even though Tina’s solo is interrupted, they still released a full version of I Follow Rivers on iTunes. Something they didn’t do for Tina very often.

When they reveal it on the plaque, Schue asked if he really said that, to which Rachel replied with “He was smart, just, you know, in an untraditional kind of way.” Which could perfectly sum up Finn. He was the one that backed up the idea to do original songs for regionals, and it won them the competition. I mean, they were guaranteed second anyway, as Sue Sylvester’s group did a HORRID song that was “cheap pandering”.

Goofs: When Will writes 5000 x .25 = 20000 on the white-board it is incorrect. To raise the $5000 needed it should be either 20000 x .25 = 5000 or 5000 / .25 = 20000. But apparently this was an inside joke with the cast/crew. During the flashback of the Brainiacs competition, Brittany says Feline AIDS was discovered in 2001 in Calcutta. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus was actually isolated at UC Davis in 1986. A reference to medical marijuana in Ohio is made, but there are no such laws in Ohio and never have been.
