So, is it just me or did anyone else notice that when Mercedes is talking with Sue, she says being a diva is all about sassy fingers and shaking that weave and not taking any nonsense from anybody. But in the “Born This Way” episode when Kurt comes back, her white shirt for the big number says “NO WEAVE” on it?

This is my least favorite s2 episode and I think that a Kurt/warbler storyline about Kurt finally fitting into the group would’ve perked it up. Take me or leave is, by far, the best song here. It’s probably the only diva off I can’t pick a winner for because they’re both great. While I don’t love Rachel’s “don’t you want your girl hot!” line, she made up for that with everything else. And we needed more Mercedes doing musical theatre. And maybe a hot take. Lauren is Pucks best relationship. She made him better and challenged him in a way that he needed. A top 5 couple for me honestly. Wish they were endgame.

I just picked up that Rachel chose “Take Me or Leave Me”; considering her “Mom” did the broadway version AND the movie version. Did anyone else notice that? Rachel even had a few of her mannerisms during the performance.

None of her boy-chasing behavior is about the actual boy. It’s always about which boy by her side will project the best “wholesome Christian family” image that her father will approve of and for once be proud of her.
