You started glee summer of 2021. I remember because that’s when I spent the summer with my mom a year after graduating high school. This is a top 5 mashup to me! It’s so good and in the full iTunes version, Santana has a solo part, not just background vocals and harmonies. Now that I’ve seen the episode for the first time in a few years, I was a bit mistaken. Sue gave the glee vs cheerio ultimatum, not Will. But it’s still weird because it’s a lot easier for glee to do a show with 3 less members than it is for Sue. So it shouldn’t have been a big deal for glee to miss some members for one night. Also this is one of my favorite Finn episodes. He truly shines and a leader here. Also I love Lauren! Finally, this marks the first Lima Bean scene.

2025-01-31 18:44:56 +0000 UTCPossibly unpopular opinion, idk, but here's a scenario I would have really liked considering Karofsky's redemption arc: In this episode, Karofsky is shown secretly enjoying performing, and is good enough that Will tells him he'd be a great addition to the show choir, and after their performance at the half-time show Finn suggests that Dave join the group. Despite his enjoyment, Dave declines, fearing the backlash and bullying he feels would come from doing so. I think it would have been really cool if, sometime after reconciling with Kurt, Dave DID join the New Directions. It wouldn't have to be right away; maybe after his attempt on his own life he could have moved back to McKinley, knowing he has friends there, and joined the glee club then. I don't know how good or bad of a singer Max Adler is, but even if he wasn't great, he didn't necessarily HAVE to sing and still could have danced with the group (Mike Chang was initially portrayed as a terrible singer - although he later improved - and was still on the team as a great dancer). I think Dave would have really enjoyed it, and it could have helped ease the anger and fear he held towards the world.

The hypocracy of him complaining about Rachel and puck singing together earlier in the episode. If he has such a problem with cheating then why…. You know what nvm

My biggest beef with this episode has ALWAYS been the random Warbler/Blaine solo thrown in there. He didn't need a song. They could have had the Unholy Trinity sing something about their confliction or something, but no. Blaine had to sing again just because. Kurt and Blaine still could have been in the ep in that scene at the coffee shop without the Warbler stuff.

2025-01-30 22:32:01 +0000 UTCI completely forgot this for the background infk post. the scene after Sue is trashing the locker room when they are in the choir room and the big footballer dude ( i don't know his name ) says about playing the first half of the game and then change into some sequin ballgowns... the actor had didnt know how the word sequin was spelled and therefore how to pronounce the word when he read it and that's why he said sequeen instead of sequin.

2025-01-30 21:14:36 +0000 UTCI was a bit surprised upon reading about this episode that it was poorly received in reviews. I thought a lot of people loved the Thriller/Heads Will Roll segment. I know I always do. I never really much liked the storyline about Shooting Britney out of a cannon, but, it's SUCH a Sue thing to want to do.

2025-01-30 21:04:08 +0000 UTCI went back 22 weeks from the season 2 ep 01 posting on here and you would've watched the first episode of glee on September 3rd 2021 (if they were consistently weekly S1) so it's nearing on 3 and a half years. you get through about 2 and a half seasons of glee a year give or take!
