I just watched this video tonight on Christmas Eve in July . Here in Canada there are, in some places , Christmas/ Boxing Day sales and some of the tv stations have Xmas movies this time of year . The Grinch stuff is even older than the movie ( s) it goes all the way back to the book and then " The Grinch who stole Christmas " 1966 cartoon Christmas tv special . "The most wonderful day of the year " comes from 1964 Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer animated Christmas special .

2025-01-28 05:30:07 +0000 UTCWhile I do think the Christmas episodes are the weakest themed episodes, (tribute, competition, holiday, etc.) the Sue stuff is great as always. I don’t really have a lot to say because the Christmas episodes aren’t really my favorite. This one ranks at 3/4 in fact. You are right tho in Last Christmas, the backing music and vocals are a bit overpowering. Also with what I said about the Kurt vocal, the music type is definitely in his wheelhouse, its just was a bad take. Like he didn’t warm up enough or got some dust in his throat. Also yeah, its a great show. It has its faults but what doesn’t? Those who stated otherwise can’t handle how iconic it is and are trying to diminish its impact because it’s outdated.
