In this episode Blaine says he has a gig singing at the “Kings Island Christmas Spectacular” and needed to practice. There was only one problem with that. The Kings Island theme park stopped doing the Christmas Spectacular show a few years before this episode. So either the writers were sloppy in their research (ENTIRELY possible) or Blaine was lying because he just wanted to sing with Kurt. I choose to believe the latter.

They were rocking and everyone was going right left right left and Jenna was not catching up. She said she looked like a clock that’s running out of batteries 😂 she was just off by a millisecond. Kevin was off too because Lea was pushing his shoulders.

The Rewalk is referenced next season saying it broke, which is a long awaited explanation into why something so important to Arties character suddenly disappeared. It’s also the only time in the show that the shows title is used in a song; Welcome Christmas. Finally, the iTunes version of The Most Wonderful Day of the Year has Kurt singing instead of Quinn, and from a Kurt fan, Quinn sounded better. The vocal director did Chris a huge disservice by letting that vocal get past the sound booth. 😬 Every singer has bad days I guess.

The rewalk artie uses is an actual invention, created in isreal. The title card is green instead of black im this episode to match the christmas theme. When Coach Bieste is watching Artie use the rewalk, the sign on the wall next to her says "Glee Club Rocks" but half of the music notes are drawn backwards.

This is the second episode that contains a wordplay with the word "Glee" in its title, the others being The Rocky Horror Glee Show, Saturday Night Glee-ver, Glease, and Glee, Actually. In the episode Extraordinary Merry Christmas, (christmas episode in season 3) it is told that the Re-Walk that Artie got in this episode broke down the day after he got it.
