This episode gave me a headache and anxiety!

2025-01-17 03:08:35 +0000 UTCI have a friend that is always taking soo long to get ready and is late for things, it drives me up the wall. I get ready last minute but I still make sure I'm ready at least 10 mins before I have to go. My gran imstilled that in me by setting all our clocks 5 mins fast when I was young so that i would think it was later than it was and be ready early cause I always got ready at the last minute 🤣

2025-01-16 08:53:50 +0000 UTCI’m the person that will sit ready to go in a holding period for hours before i have to be somewhere for fear of being late. I also plan the crap out of anything that i have to do and I plan for multiple scenarios and I hate having to rely on other people to do their part.

2025-01-15 22:00:16 +0000 UTCThis is a fan favorite but I don’t like it. For the exact reasons u mentioned 😂 like lack of respect and lack of self awareness is my biggest pet peeve. So this whole episode makes me so mad 😂😂😂

2025-01-15 18:52:22 +0000 UTCI agree that they were rude but Joey and Chandler were definitely the rudest. Rachel was at least trying to get ready. And although she was being annoying yes, I understand why she was upset. Yelling and especially throwing shoes near someone's head is never okay. Her response was really petty though. I agree that they need better communication.

2025-01-15 18:38:35 +0000 UTCBeing a chronic procrastinator and my mom wanting everything to be done early… let’s just say many arguments/fights have started due to these differences. But the thing is just like all the characters I’m someone who only needs a couple minutes to get dressed, so I am the type of person to get dressed right before I head out. I’ve also never been late to anything before so 🤷🏻♀️ I mean if the friends are known to not be punctual maybe Ross could’ve told them they only had 5minutes to get ready 🤷🏻♀️ idk I’m trying to see it from the friends perspective. I help my mom set appointments for her hair salon and there are SO many customers who are always late, so I’ll tell them that their appointment is at 2pm but put them in for like 2:30.

2025-01-15 18:23:32 +0000 UTCFun fact: they did this episode because they ran low on budget and needed to keep the costs on sets down

2025-01-15 18:10:35 +0000 UTCAhh this is the first “classic” episode I feel. It usually makes the “best of lists”. It all being in real time and not moving from Monica’s apartment. The chaos. Peak Friends!!!

2025-01-15 18:07:01 +0000 UTCThose 6 are a hot damn mess. 😂😂😂 Gotta love them though. I am early to everything in life so I would have smacked Joey and chandler with those cushions. 🤣 They are so much fun to watch though. It feels good to just laugh because they feel like your friends too. That’s a very real situation though between people who are early for everything and people who walk out the door with seconds to spare or are late. The aggravation is REAL.

2025-01-15 17:57:25 +0000 UTCAudrey, you forgot the question! Maybe you can add it to the next episode (or the next one that you film). Anyway, the pettiness is on another level in this one. "Hey, I'm Chandler! Could I BE wearing any more clothes?" 🤣 I completely understand and share your opnion regarding Ross. He was EXTREMELY patient and this is coming from someone who's dad was the exact opposite (luckily he's gotten better) and would stress me even more. I HATE being late and stressed but I often find myself in that position, especially lately. Fun facts: This ep. is a classic and on a lot of people's list of favourite eps. It's also what is called a "bottle episode" where the crew has a limited budget, and is why most of it takes place in Monica and Rachel's apartment and why it consists of mostly the main cast. Other bottle eps are most of the Thanksgiving eps (1x09, 4x08, 6x09, 7x08, 08x09, 9x08), 5x19, 6x06, 7x01 and 8x04. Finally, it takes place in "real time", as in the length of the ep. Matt LeBlanc (Joey) actually dislocated his shoulder during the scene where Joey and Chandler jump for the chair by tripping over the coffee table. They weren’t able to finish filming when that happened since Joey is in almost every scene, except when he gets dressed in Chandler’s clothes, so they had to wait until his shoulder was healed to film the rest. It indeed ended up being the longest ep. to film (a couple of months).

2025-01-15 17:22:36 +0000 UTCThis episode was actually the longest to film because Matt Leblanc had an injury on the set while jumping over the coffee table onto the chair.

2025-01-15 16:56:45 +0000 UTCI have the same opinion as you. Like.. poor Ross, if they were my friends, I’d go alone and leave them home. They are so rude, only Phoebe was prepared.
