I'd love to see your reaction to the full 40 minute featurette whenever you have time for it! Also, there's a bunch of shorter featurettes on the Wicked Movie YouTube channel, including one called "Making the Sound" that discusses how they captured all of the live vocals.

My favourites of the anniversary releases on YouTube was likely the Defying Gravity that was done by Alyssa Fox (the principal Elphaba for those shows), Mary Kate Morrissey (the Elphaba standby), Jackie Burns (a former Elphaba) and Jenny DiNoia (another former Elphaba) along with the round table the same four women did. They also had done a 20th anniversary version of Popular with McKenzie Kurtz who was the principle Glinda and former Glindas Alli Mauzey, Kara Lindsay and Amanda Jane Cooper along with a round table for them. Alyssa Fox and Kara Lindsay were actually the Elphaba and Glinda I saw when the show came to my city in 2014. There are a few of these scenes I would have loved to have stayed in the movie even as shortened versions of the scene. As for the Glinda/Fiyero/Elphie of it all I have always said since that 2014 show that I saw that a bunch of problems would have been solved if Fiyero was either dropped from the dynamic or they decided on polyamory

2025-01-14 09:58:12 +0000 UTCI wish they kept the extended scene with Elphaba and Fiyero saving the cub together. Their back and forth banter is so funny and they have so much chemistry together. It really would've been nice to see more of that explored. Also, even though it's such a minor point- this scene explains how he was scratched by the cub. Without the context this scene provides the scratch seemed to come out of nowhere.

I know it wasn't in the bonus content, but I know they cut a friendship montage and a scene of Boq basically confessing his feelings to Glinda and I wish those were in the movie. I just want a full extended version that has everything they cut for time.
