I’m 42 now and we watched it every week. Hated the breaks and the fact we couldn’t record or re watch if something happened. Can’t remember what episode it was now but had some kind of emergency happen and missed like season 6 or 7 finale and had to wait till they did reruns to see what we had missed it was so bad.

2025-01-08 17:38:17 +0000 UTCI was born after season 2 aired xD This season ended in May 1996, and I was September 1996. That said, I do remember when I got older, I'd watch with my family. I was 4 and 5 watching the show, not totally getting it, but loving it anyway. And I used to hate the break in between but at least I had Barney and Austin Powers to get me by LMAO

2025-01-07 23:26:50 +0000 UTCI wasn't born yet when it aired I was born in 2004 a year after the show ended. But I binged the show in 2020 and didn't stop ever since. I finished the show last week and I'm gonna re-start again. Of curse I watch other stuff, I'm currently on the sixth season of TWD. But Friends is a show that is my background, or I watch it before sleep after I arrive for a stressful day in college and work. That's why I love so much it's so light, pure and cozy. 🥹🐱🤗🌟

2025-01-03 02:42:36 +0000 UTCI remember friends being on when I was a kid but wasn't really interested until they put it on Netflix. I binged the whole thing! I was dealing with some health issues at the time and couldn't do anything much other than watch TV but I really got into it and would stay up late to watch one more episode... and then another.

2025-01-02 21:40:59 +0000 UTCSo I was 5 when this originally aired and I didn’t watch it u til I was maybe 12? They used to have it on the tv basically everyday so most likely I just waited until the next day for the next episode. I wouldn’t say this is a great cliffhanger compared to the coming seasons where you definitely wanna know what’s happening next.

2025-01-02 16:00:31 +0000 UTCI was 3 when this aired but, as my mum AND my sisters all watched it, it was always on in the background. I didn't start watching it until around S6 or 7 (when I was also around 6 or 7), but they were also always showing reruns and my mum rented it/bought it, first on VHS and then DVD, so I was able to mostly catch up. In spite of the fact that Chandler (bless him) hasn't really been a good boyfriend to Janice, I've always loved how he walks up to her and kisses her in the coffeehouse. Kind of reminds me of Ross and Rachel's kiss, it's so romantic. About Monica and Richard, it was kind of inevitable. They never had the 'talk' but Monica was always clear that she wanted kids and then there was Richard talking about his grown kids and grandkids. Monica was very mature in that moment, even more so than Richard (though his intentions were good). She knew he was just settling and in the long run it wouldn't have worked. Still sucks. On another note, I never understood why they were at the wedding. They didn't know Barry or Mindy and Monica wasn't even at Rachel's wedding to Barry because they had drifted apart. But I guess maybe Richard knew him, with both of them being doctors, and Monica came as his date. I’m also surprised they even allowed Rachel to bring a guest considering how they were treating her. And it sucks that Mindy didn’t even try to defend her. Like I get Barry is her husband, but she’s also the one who kept insisting Rachel be her maid of honour. Imagine spending your own wedding reception trashing your ex/your husband's ex who was also your best friend. Rachel dodged a bullet with that one. I just love her character growth so much. Her basically telling everyone at the wedding "you don’t define me" felt like it was also her essentially closing that whole chapter of her life for good. (Sidenote: Barry is the same actor but Mindy is a different actress).

2025-01-02 03:32:38 +0000 UTCI was 5 when it came out, so i didnt watch it until I was probably about 11 or 12 and would just be catching reruns of it at that time. Didn't properly watch it til years later and I was able to just binge it and follow the story better.

2025-01-02 02:39:04 +0000 UTCI was in college when friends aired. My roommates and I had Thursday night TV watch parties. Back then, Thursday night was everything. Friends, Will & Grace, Seinfeld, one new show introduced into the mix every year, and then ER. “Must See TV on NBC”

2025-01-01 18:26:48 +0000 UTCI live in Germany so when Friends originally aired here on TV in like 1998, they aired the S1-4 episodes every day until S5 so we never really had to wait for the new episodes. Having said that, the S2 finale is arguably the worst of all of them so I can't remember how I felt when that aired, but I would say, it doesn't hit the same as the later season finales.

2025-01-01 18:18:52 +0000 UTCI wasn't old enough to care much about the show until it got put on reruns (92 baby). And even when it was on reruns, I had to either wait week to week to see episodes or wait for marathons that I sometimes missed parts of. It wasn't until my family got the complete series on DVD that I was able to appreciate the episodes in order and then I did binge watch it and go from one season to the next. My parents were both hooked on it, especially my dad cuz he is a big fan of Matthew Perry, so they got to watch it as it aired and my dad was really eager to see the next season because he is also a fan of Tom Selleck (Monica's boyfriend Richard) and he wanted to know if his character was still going to be in it or if they were just done with him. My mom watched it for Janice lol.

2025-01-01 18:04:45 +0000 UTCWhen this episode aired on 16 May 1996 I was only a few days old 🙈 I started watching the show when I was 16 so in 2012 and used it to work on my English! I binged all of it with my mom and brother. We couldn’t wait to get into the next season….I LOVE all episodes when Janice comes back. She’s just so much fun 😂😂😂😂 PS: HAPPY NEW YEAR AUDREY!! 🥂🍾🥳

2025-01-01 17:41:00 +0000 UTCI'm noticing that later in the episode there was a audio syncing issue on the video. All the audio was behind what it should be. I could see your mouth move before the audio played.

2025-01-01 17:27:16 +0000 UTCI wasn't born when Friends first started airing, I was born I think around the time season 7 started airing. I watched it when I believe I was a freshman in high school on Netflix. I binged it over a few months.

2025-01-01 17:13:33 +0000 UTCI was 5 when season 2 came out, so I wasn't watching it when it first came out but I'm sure that when I was able to watch it again, I was wanting to see more seasons. Friends has become one of my comfort shows that I watch when I can just sit and not have to really pay attention to things.
