So alot of people can't stand people chewing but have no issues hearing cute dogs chew. Like does it bother you on Instagram videos where for eg Pearl the golden retriever eats different veges and chews into the mic?

My feet and hands CANNOT be dry. It is like nails on a chalk board if my feet or hands are dry. I put lotion on multiple times a day and I have to wear socks to bed to keep my feet from getting dry in the night. I have a handful of quirky things, but here is one that is most annoying to me.

Karley Harper

I feel like I have MANY OCD quirks, almost all related to things being even/symmetrical and/or in units of 4. So, if I step on something with my left foot that I feel in a certain part of my foot, I have to step on something to get the same feeling on my right foot. One that's become a cutesy thing with my husband is, when we kiss as just a peck, it has to be in a unit of 4. So 4 is good, 8, 12, etc. If the set of 4 isn't complete I feel off and flustered until it's remedied. He'll sometimes use that against me by sneaking an extra one, so I have to kiss him 3 more times to make it right 🤣

Tara Cabache

I have OCD, anxiety, and autism so I'm a giant walking quirk. But some of my highlights include: microwave stops on 2, i never let it beep and if i do have to end it earlier than that, the number has to end in 2 or 7. i wear my socks inside out because the seams make my brain itchy. when i go to bed i have to do a lap of my living room and kitchen and turning the kitchen light off has to be the last thing i do before i head to my room in the basement. i have to finish every show, movie, game (think monopoly or mario party) i start, i can not just... stop. even if a show is a shitshow i will watch til the end because i can not bring myself not to and it stresses me out to try. i won't walk on the right of someone, i always walk on the left, but if i'm at the movies i have to sit on the right of everyone i'm with. food doesn't get to touch on my plate, i eat off of kid-like plates with separate sections for everything bc otherwise i will gag. i like blanket tags to be on the bottom left corner when i'm using them. uhhhhh and also i sort my skittles by colour before i eat them, and they have to be eaten relatively evenly until there is one of each left.

Megan Christina

it's actually not that weird your anxiety decreased after your hysterectomy, because hormones are linked to anxiety

Realised I forgot to comment on this ep 😂 Merry belated Christmas and a happy new year!! I've become more and more obsessive about certain things as I've gotten older and it's mainly like rearranging things on my nightstand/desk or other places. Also, too much hair or dust on my sheets drive me insane and also if my sheets "move" out of place or aren't even/have wrinkles in them. I turn A LOT in my sleep and because I'm so damn hot all the time I wake up sweating A LOT, so the sheets go all over the place. Those are like the main things, but on a deeper level, one of my main forms of self harm used to be skin picking (my main form was cutting but I am just over 8 months clean of SH in general). It's classified as SH as well but it's more obsessive compulsive rather than a coping mechanism.

Heida

I did the same with the DVDs but instead of alphabetical order I put movies of the same/similar genres together, so all horror/thriller together for instance.

Heida

Same with the sheets! And they move around A LOT for me because I move a lot in my sleep AND I sweat a lot because I'm always so damn hot!

Heida

I need to have music or TV on for me to sleep! Always have since I was little! I hate silence it takes me ages to get to sleep :(

I have a stage obsessive destructive this when I will itch my skin so much I create holes it it I also do the same with my eyes and on my right eye I did so much damage that I completely wore down my corner and had to have an operation to fix it I also creating problems with my sight I have a very strong lence on my right and a slight perception in my lest also when I'm eating I will never just grab one it has to be an even number or items I also have to rub my feet together when I sleep I can't sleep if I'm not doing it with is hard at the moment as I have a broken toe. I also can't sand small noises like tapping hummin a dripping tap it drives my crazy. Also I'm wring a book at the moment and I have to hand write it first then type it up the print it off cover it I symbols and highlighter write it out again the type it I repete this process multiple times before it's finished I don't know why I have always felt the need to do all of that it's just extra work also I have grown out of this one but as a child I had a compulsive need to wipe everything with baby wipes why I don't know but I used to walk around the house and clean everything with baby wipes to me it wasn't clean unless you cleaned it with a baby wipe. If someone is singing and they sig it wrong I will correct them every time I can't stand kreeky doors or floor boards.

danielle hall

No way I do that too. Can't explain why, but I need the volume to be on an even number.

Turnip Crazy

Oh I totally get the even number on the volume thing. I do a similar thing with the volume but it has to be in multiples of 5 haha

Merry Christmas to you too!

Yeah, I can’t stand sleeping like a burrito. I could never do sleeping bags when camping. I always had to have it unzipped with my leg sticking out otherwise I feel like I’m getting restricted.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Merry Christmas to you too!

I wish I could sleep with an eye mask and earplugs. That would make traveling so much easier plus my husband snores.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Sounds like reading books is your Zen. And it would then make sense to want to keep your Zen area as perfectly clean and clutter free as possible because a crease on the page could definitely feel like that. I do love the feeling of a soft cover book and I do not like the feeling of a hardcover book as well, however, I often like to read books around the same time and that is not travel friendly, so I have resorted to using a Kindle. It’s not nearly the same, but it’s a sacrifice I’ve had to make.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I think currently I have seven pairs of shoes and Danny says it’s my “obsession “when clearly he has no idea what a shoe obsession looks like for a girl. Ha ha ha! That does make total sense though that it would be like a Zen room for you because nothing else goes in there to pull away from the perfect organization. I would totally go visit and meditate in your Zen shoe room.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I am totally with you on the water bottle! I have a 40 ounce canteen that I put beside my bed and if it’s not 100% full when I go to sleep, then I will fill it up before bed, even though it is unlikely that I will drink the entire thing

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Oh shit on an even number! Now that’s a wild one!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Oh, I love that! 😆

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Dude, chickenpox sound like no fun at all! I’m sorry you had to deal with that

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

And I do love that you go to sleep listening to evermore. That is such a peaceful album.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Hey, at least what you need to go to sleep is something that you can easily travel with. Better than a weighted blanket!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

My things are mostly around sleeping. I can’t stand any lights when I’m sleeping and I have to sleep with a sleep mask. I can’t sleep with silence because then I’ll focus on every tiny sound so I have my phone programmed to play evermore on repeat every night and I also have a fan running. I have to have my ears covered by my sheet. Also during Christmas break in third grade when I was 10 our back door neighbors had chicken pox so my mom sent my younger brother, sister and me to go play with them to go get chicken pox thinking that since we are out of school for 2 weeks it would be a good time to get it over with so we don’t have to miss school. Well, my brother got it the first week of break and my sister and I didn’t get it till the second. My sister was only 3 and only had 6 pox but with a 103 fever the whole week. I was so completely covered and I was miserable. I also ended up with pneumonia and I was severely dehydrated and my mom kept threatening to take me to the ER if I didn’t drink more. I had pox all the way down my throat and it was agony to swallow. I ended up missing 2 weeks of school after break so her plan really backfired. Two years later the chicken pox vaccine became readily available. On top of all of that, then 18 years later when I was 28 I broke out in shingles while I was teaching toddlers. I was under so much stress at my job and my co teacher was planning on being out for 3 weeks for her wedding and my body just couldn’t take it any more and found a way to force me to take a break. Since the kids I was teaching were all under 2 and couldn’t the vaccine yet. Now, years later I still have nerve issues on my left side of my back that flare up. All because my mom thought Christmas of 93 would be a convenient time to get chicken pox over with - and she still hasn’t apologized.

I need the light switches if the light is off to both be off is that light has 2 switches. I’ll go downstairs to turn it on to come back upstairs to turn it off so the light switches for that light both say off.

emmy

I have to have the TV volume on an even number and when i was in school, I had to sit on a certain side of the desk.

Tyler Mckenzie

I have to sleep on the side of the bed closest to the door and the door has to be open or I feel trapped 😂 Mugs in the cupboard have to be facing with the handles facing out but angled to the right side. My cupboard is in the left side of the kitchen, so if it was on the right side the mug handles would have to angle left to make it correct in my brain 🤣 I have to have a bottle of water beside me when I go to bed. I hate feeling thirsty at all, so when I wake up I need to have water immediately to elevate the thirsty feeling or I feel uncomfortable 🤣 I also carry water with me everywhere incase I feel thirsty. There's probably a few other things but these are the ones I'm more aware of.

Alex Foster

I have High Functioning Anxiety Disorder and OCD so I have a lot of “things”. Everything in my house has a place, and not just a place but it belongs on that shelf in that corner facing that direction. My DVDs are also all alphabetical and my bookshelves are organized by genre and then alphabetical by author. The one I get teased about the most though is my shoes. My shoes have their own room and they’re all kept in their original boxes. The room is floor to ceiling shelves all the way around and my shoes are all shelved in their boxes and there is a Polaroid picture of each shoe taped to the outside of each box so I know what’s what. (I should mention I have about 300 pairs of shoes…..) My shoe room is my happy place though so I don’t mind if people make fun of it. The organization puts me at peace when I’m feeling stressed. And I have great shoes that are really taken care of and so I can wear them for years!

Jewlee Nelson

I don't know if it's a quirk, but in order to sleep I either need to be straddling something or my arm needs to be around something and my head needs to be on that thing. It's what makes me comfortable enough to sleep. I also really want my movies or books to be in their complete sets. I guess a real quirk I have is I try the best I can to keep soft cover books as neatly with their crease as I can. You know when you read a soft cover book and then the front page will flap up, because the crease is no longer clean. I'll always put another book or something heavy on top of the book while I'm not reading it, so that crease stays nice a neat. That problem would be solved if I like hard cover books, but I just don't. I like the texture of a soft cover book.

Turnip Crazy

Merry Christmas!! 🎄 All of my DVDs (yes I still have DVDs 😂) are all in alphabetical order, unless they're part of a series. I also have to sleep in complete silence and darkness, so I sleep with an eye mask and ear plugs every night

MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎅🏻💚❤️

Enzo Reis

I CANNOT sleep if my sheets and blankets are messy. They have to be straight and tucked in. No wrinkles. I can’t handle sleeping burrito style. It makes me feel super claustrophobic! My husband is the opposite with the sheets and it drives me nuts!
