After Darren Criss didn't get the part of Finn and decided to audition again, when he went in for his live interview he decided to cut his very curly, and well grown out shaggy hair just before the interview, and he's pretty convinced it helped sell the producers on him as the dapper Blaine

2024-12-21 16:32:19 +0000 UTCPuck is back from his "paid vacation" this week. In one scene, Sue calls will 'annie sullivan' and asks if he needs her to 'sign it on his palm'. This reference is faulty as it refers to Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan. So she should have called him Helen not annie for this to make sense. During start me up/living on a prayer a camera and cameraman are apparently visible on thw left side.

In Kevin and Jenna’s podcast, they revealed that having Darren on set encouraged them to work even harder. Also, Blaine was originally intended to be Kurt’s mentor for a few episodes only, but the fan response was so large, that he was kept in as a love interest. Which I think almost everyone can agree that that was the right decision to make. The interaction between Blaine, Kurt, and Karosky on the stairs at McKinley was the very first scene that Chris and Darren filmed together. Goes to show you how good their natural chemistry is because that scene is pretty emotional.

During a rehearsal, the girls turned a microphone stand upside down for Lea to sing into, which fell out and hit her in the face. Heather also said that mashup was her favourite performance to do because she got to wear leather, which was a dream of hers. The show's rendition of Teenage Dream debuted at #8 in the Bilboard Hot 100, sold 55,000 downloads on its first day and a total of 214,000 copies in its first week, the best first-day and first-week sales numbers for any of their singles. It also reached #1 on the ITunes download charts and it still is the most successful song from the show. Katy Perry expressed approval of the cover on Twitter. Darren Criss got the part of Blaine after a nationwide open audition, in which anyone could upload a video onto Glee's Myspace page singing one of two songs they allowed. He originally auditioned for Finn. Dot-Marie Jones (Shannon Beiste) said that she had a really hard time looking stern during the boy's number in the end because she thought they were so cute and charming. She also said she was shy when kissing Matthew. Technically Karofsky isn't Kurt's first kiss since he made out with Brittany in S1. But Karofsky is his first kiss with another man. But he also says he hadn't had a kiss that counted, so in his mind, Brittany's kiss didn't count. The revelation that Karofsky's bullying stems from his own gay feelings was based on a personal acquaintance of Ryan Murphy's. Originally there were different mash-ups with different soloists. In a deleted scene, Emma appears and sees Will kiss Beiste.
