I think it landed a bit better for me because I'm a big fan of Sza and it was produced very similarly (in my opinion) to something that Sza would do. Call it the end though, I actually loved the simplicity of that production because it just seemed so vulnerable.

I will say Rose has undeniably the best vocals in the group (very closely followed by Jisoo) but Lisa just has this confidence and attitude in the songs she releases, and even in blackpink her presense is just so captivating. Lisa's Rockstar and New woman are absolutely insane, and she has an album releasing in Febuary which I am very excited for. I would love to maybe see you do a roundup video of some of the other blackpink solo songs to really see how different their personalities and music styles are, I think it would really surprise you. However, I understand you probably get so many requests for other reactions but I just thought I would suggest it for you to consider :) <3

2024-12-08 15:07:08 +0000 UTCBlackpink are still very much together and with a comeback and tour set for 2025. They took this year to work on their solos. Rosé did this album. Jennie and Lisa are working on their albums set to release early next year. After they left YG, they also released a few singles. Jennie has 'Mantra' and Lisa has 'Rockstar', 'New Woman' and 'Moonlit Floor'. While Jisoo just went crazy. She's starring a in a movie, is the lead of two kdramas and just finished an album as well which she says will release sooner than we expect. Prior to this year, before they left YG, they also all had solos. Rosé had a mini album called -R- with 2 songs 'On the Ground' and 'Gone' (the last one is likely about the same ex as 'rosie'). Lisa had 'Lalisa' and 'Money' and a few features. Jennie had 'Solo' and 'You and Me', also with a couple extra features. And Jisoo has 'Flower' and 'All Eyes on Me'. While all those songs are great, they were all still under YG and with very little control of their music. Their future music is what I am really excited for. With Lisa and Jennie's couple of releases we can already see the difference in their music before and after YG.
