I don't know if people know this, but Peter Dinklage, Dr. Dilamund, was in another movie musical where he was the main character. It's called Cyrano. He also played the part of Cyrano in the stage version. No one really ever knows the musical, but I own it on blue-ray.

No One Mourns the Wicked takes place at the canonical end of the entire story, once both the witches, of the East and West, are dead. The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy's story) takes place during the second act (Part Two) of the production, once Nessarose has been gifted her ruby (or silver) slippers, has become the Wicked Witch of the East, and enslaved the Munchkins. Dorothy's house then crushes Nessarose, and then her story plays out. Then Dorothy 'melts' Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the East), and Dorothy leaves. Then, Glinda is supposed to perform No One Mourns the Wicked.
