The worst and only roommates I've had were in college, the first year I had two who basically moved their boyfriends into the room (no dividers or anything) with us. I spent quite a few nights on the couch in the lobby while one or the other was having sex. The last one was nice and all, but she was an education major who pronounced it "liberry", and was super religious and not cool with my queerness. After that I realized I'm meant to live alone and have done so ever since.

2024-11-18 00:36:47 +0000 UTCAt uni I lived with my best friend and two other girls. One was a sweetheart and the other was a nightmare! She was so rude, sometimes aggressive sometimes passive aggressive and it was like walking on eggshells. I remember when I lost it with her ( I am a very patient person, so when I lose it, it with valid reason) I got back from a long day at uni ( I did a dance degree so my hours were usually 7am-9pm, and if doing rehearsals for performances sometimes 12pm, everyone knew this and were fine with it) she was up and ripped into me. She said I slam the door when I come back, I wake everyone up when I have a bath at night, and I'm soo inconsiderate ect. So I came back with ' I'm sorry you feel this way, but I know that is not true. The other two ladies have no issues and say I am very considerate when I come home. I pay extra for the water because of my hot baths so that is not the problem. The problem is you are awake when I got back and didn't want me catching you not doing what we have asked you to do ... Repeatedly. Also if you really want to talk about being inconsiderate, you steal everyone's milk, and don't replace it, you always have horrid comments to one particular room mate resulting her in Tears and you never wash up!!!!! ' There was more to it but honestly it was awful 😞

2024-11-15 12:21:26 +0000 UTC😂 I’ve had too many terrible roommates to keep track of. Most notably was a girl in her mid 20s and she would leave her used giant pads lightly rolled up in toilet paper inside the bathroom cabinet (the trash can was next to the toilet) several times. She also would leave her bloody underwear on the kitchen counter repeatedly. She claimed that because her mom died when she was 15 that she never learned about how to handle her period but her sister was 3 years younger than her an definitely didn’t have hygiene issues. She also has had a step-mom since she was 16 and lived with her grandparents after she turned 18. Not to mention how easily information is available to access online if she was afraid to ask anyone. So she really had no excuse, she was just gross and a biohazard.

2024-11-14 02:30:39 +0000 UTCOne of my friends who is still my friend but now lives with their partner thank God. Is an awful roomate broke things, didnt wash dishes, or do laundry more than once a month so their clothes werent the cleanest and their room was always a smelly mess, cause they would smoke weed in there when I was at work. Couldnt keep a job to pay rent regularly and i already let them stay for less than half of the rent and utilities. They also had a temper when things didnt go how they planned or wanted and would slam doors and cupboards stomping round in a foul mood. While i woild be sleeping for work ( i work night shift). Glad they left before it ended with a massive fight, cause I was about to lose it.

2024-11-13 23:02:02 +0000 UTCFun facts: A longer version of the Smelly music video is included on the DVD and you can see here: https://youtu.be/EYWsYyR7zFo?si=4JOD7h3F_35luIEu. Smelly Cat is so iconic that Taylor, a big Friends fan and obviously a cat lady, had Lisa Kudrow as a special guest on her 1989 tour and they sang it together. And Lisa also sang it with a special guest in the reunion but I'm not gonna say who or post the link because I want it to be a surprise for when you (hopefully) react to it once you finish the show. And gonna maybe request the Taylor one for a live 😉 Phoebe says that "none of you ever made a video". The 6 main cast members appear in the music video for the theme song (I'll Be There For You by The Rembrandts). In addition, Courtney Cox was in Bruce Springsteen's video for Dancing in the Dark: https://youtu.be/129kuDCQtHs?si=_eDitboxea_CgYM0 (she's in the second half of the video). She recently recreated that it too: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8AYxtZSsM-/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link. Lisa Kudrow is listed as being in Ice Cube's video for True to the Game but I swear she's not in it (the only one that could be her is clearly not her). In the credits at the beginning of the music video, the producer is listed as "BKC Records" and the director is listed as "A. Chase". "BKC" stand for the showrunners' last names: Kevin Bright, Kauffman and David Crane, while "A. Chase" is a reference to Adam Chase who co-wrote this episode. Matthew Perry and Yasmine Bleeth from Baywatch were actually dating when this episode aired. Ross telling Monica she's gone "ultrasonic again" is a callback to 1x09 when Chandler said "only dogs can hear you". And no roommate horror stories from me but that is horrible.
