Also at the beginning of 1x22, Quinn says that she isn’t due for a month, so Beth was definitely very chonky and healthy for a slightly premature baby lol. Timelines are pretty much the least important of Glee’s inconsistencies though.

So if Regionals is mid Feb - mid March Beth would have been a micropreemie to preemie and that would was no preemie. I think that they had not yet figured out the timeline for the school year in regards to the competitions when they planned the back 9. Especially since 1/22 aired June 8 and if Regionals took place then Quinn would have been 44 weeks.

Ryan Murphy was planning on having the glee club win regionals if the show didn’t get picked up to end on a high note. (Literally 😂) But I’m glad they didn’t because, other than us getting more of the show, the ND’s winning against that bohemian rhapsody would be the ultimate plot armor! Also as you began s2, you can notice that the budget is much bigger and everyone is wearing a bit more makeup with longer hair and “sluttier” clothes. To quote Jenna on the podcast.

Maybe not that interesting of "shocking" but, as is typical with newborn babies on TV, Quinn's supposed newborn has no afterbirth on her, no bruising and is obviously several weeks old. During the scene of Quinn giving birth, you can see her mum say "get it out!" during the guitar solo in Bohemian Rhapsody. The kiss between Will and Emma was unscripted. Writer Brad Falchuk told Matthew to do it before the scene was shot to get a genuine reaction from Jayma. 2x01 Dianna accidentally hurt Naya while filming the iconic fight scene.

Many of the dummies used for the Regionals audience could be seen if you looked closely. enough while Will entered the theater and the judges were introduced, especially when Rod is introduced. Will tells the club to 'have a good summer,' although in subsequent seasons, it is established that Regionals is in late February/early March, at least two months before the end of the school semester. Similarly, Quinn found out she was pregnant at the start of the school year (most likely September) which would make her only five/six months pregnant by Regionals.
