So my schools never had a yearbook that belonged to the school as far as I'm aware but a friend did start trying to cut out a bully from my copy not realizing that I was on the other side of the picture 🤦 Though I now kinda wonder if the reason they didn't have a school yearbook for the high school I went to is that they would have ended up having a lot of yearbooks since it was technically two high schools that combined in 2007

2024-09-06 12:26:13 +0000 UTCAlthough it’s never ok to intimidate or scare your parter ‘male or female’ will’s response was completely justified that’s not just any old lie, and yes will would never hit Terry or any woman. It’s definitely brushed under the carpet how Terry was abusive to will obviously not physically but emotionally which can be just as bad. I would never disagree will how will reacted that’s not something that can be forgiven.

2024-09-06 08:58:26 +0000 UTCWill had a lot of problematic moments throughout the show but the scene with Terri where he finds out the truth is the only time I was genuinely afraid of him. I legitimately though he was gonna hit her. Some people even think he should have or would have understood, but I'm glad he didn't. His reaction was very justified but NOTHING justifies abuse (unless self defense where your life is literally in danger). Still, he showed some major self-control there. I feel like we don't talk enough about how Terri emotionally and verbally abused Will. Even just in that conversation when Will says "I should be allowed to feel good about myself" and Terri says "Who are we kidding? This marriage works BECAUSE you don't feel good about yourself". That says it all. And I think the last straw for him was the fact that Terri involved one of his students/Glee kids, A PREGNANT VULNERABLE TEENAGER. Anyway, I also wanna say Matthew's acting in that scene is INSANE. I'm convinced that alone got him a guest starring role as an abusive husband on Grey's Anatomy (where he was even more scary and an actual psychopath). But let's also give Jessalyn her applause because regardless of how much I hated the character she really sold it too 👏🏻 Btw I'm glad they didn't have him start singing Another One Bites the Dust after he yelled "Are you happy? Are you satisfied?" 😂 This is actually one of the rare scenes which could have easily been cringey and outright funny if it had not had such convincing acting. Also, I 100% agree when it comes to the school's lack of punishment when it came to bullying/violence. No one EVER got any sort of punishment until Karofsky's contstant assaults on Kurt became so bad that he threatened his life. And even then, Kurt is the one who had to switch schools. But it's honestly not that surprising since Sue, A GROWN ADULT TEACHER, was bullying and physically assaulting other teachers AND students left and right. Figgins was a hilarious character but he was a horrible principal and let Sue get away with everything. He was honestly not much worse than Sue was as a principal. Fun facts: When they were shooting the mattress performance, the two large "beds" in the middle were actually trampolines covered up, enabling the actors to do the jump stunts easily. The 'over-the-left-shoulder pose' just so happens to be Lea's signature pose. Goofs/continuity errors: Rachel tells Figgins it's her first year in glee club but she was in Sandy Ryerson's glee club before Will took over. In the glee club photo caption in the yearbook, Puck's first name is said to be Nathan but it's really Noah.

2024-09-06 05:44:10 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to glee, logic doesn’t really apply. It’s more of a; forget about how the real world would deal with this and just enjoy the craziness that is the show. But sometimes it’s hard to look past the plot holes. Moving on, the scene in the kitchen is probably one of the best acted scenes in this whole damn show! Yes, Schue was pretty scary but like you said, once you know that character, it’s not as bad. Matthew Morrison is definitely one of the only true triple threats in the main cast. I’m really excited for next week! I have LOTS of thoughts on that episode! Fun facts: (1) the commercial was shot in a warehouse that didn’t have AC so everyone was sweating really bad, and they were shooting that for an entire day. (2) The big mattresses were actually trampolines disguised to get more bounce. (3) Chris Colfer, aka Kurt, got hurt a couple times during Jumps filming; a hit to the crotch and a back injury when attempting a backflip. (He was ok though, nothing serious.) (4) The cast loved filming the commercial because it allowed freedom on what their characters would do.

Also I love their performance of Jump in this episode so much!

I also found out that my favorite teacher died today. The final song in this episode was exactly what I needed to hear. “Smile though your heart is breaking, smile even though it’s aching. When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by… life is still worthwhile, if you just smile.” Thank you so much, Audrey!
