He then opened his heart to Regina and suddenly Marian his love is back from the dead ! He is focusing on his vow to ground him because I do not think he has had a chance to figure out his true feelings , after all Marian has literally just returned . As for Emma imho she is right in telling Hook to be patient she has had so much hearbreak that created walls around her heart .It was only the last episode that she decided she needed to let her parents in . Her romantic life was a train wreck she got sent to jail because of Neal meeting up with August, He then came back into her life and " died" when he fell in a portal , then after reconnecting the new curse separated them , then she nearly gets engaged to a flying monkey and then after reconnecting with Neal again she watches him die .Emma needs time to grieve and process before she can be with Hook !

She went to him about hiding it and even referenced the Vault he locked Emma and Hook in, but he brushed it off and had her keep it. I think they think if it's on her, it might be safe. Maybe have a protection spell on her bag? Honestly, this is when Regina is really showing how much she's changed. Yes she fell back into the bad habit of wanting revenge, but after seeing how she used to be she stopped herself. She took the focus off of Marian (which is huge) and realized it's not her fault it's the Author of the book's. Also I like how they leaned into the Frozen theme with Regina leaning against the door while Emma is trying to get her to open up. It's very "Do you want to build a snowman"

This is awesome bc I love the Frozen storyline and it just so happened that I saw Elizabeth Lail who plays Anna in a brand new Off-Off-Broadway play last week and she was amazing! Kinda trippy to see her performance in today's reaction of OUAT and have seen her performance in this new play. If anyone is in NYC by September 8, they should go see it! It's called Pretty Perfect Lives and it's super interesting and funny

Because she never seen herself like that, yes she knows but she hasn’t seen it. She probably hasn’t even seen her own change herself before she saw the evil queen and realized she come to far to go back. And yes she is definitely in between good and evil, but she just turned good she’s still figuring it out. And I don’t know if this is me just over analyzing things, but does anyone else notice how when Regina says “mirror mirror on the wall, show me who I want to kill most of all” it focuses on the evil queen not Marian… I don’t know if that means anything, but maybe the one she wants to kill is her darkness or something? Just a thought

And this is the reference to also to the term of “Disneyfication” 😁
