What Will and Emma have been doing is wrong and just like Rachel with Finn, Emma is indeed trying to steal Will away from Terri. These two storylines do really mirror each other with the kids and the adults in this pregnancy/love triangle. It’s truly sad that Ken would choose to settle for Emma knowing she really wouldn’t be with him ever. Will and Terri’s marriage was doomed from the start but I don’t think all the blame is on Terri, Will definitely played a part in it.

She's selfish but it seems a lot more driven by fear than arrogance like in the later seasons and there's still a lightness and kindness to her that seems to kinda disappear as the seasons go on. As for Ryan Murphy leaving, this is a total guess but I think it's a little bit of what actors go through of if they stop and don't have more and more projects that things will dry out for them. He felt the need especially after previous "failures" to capitalize on the fame and success of Glee

2024-07-27 00:01:35 +0000 UTCWhile I actually prefer the back 9 episodes to the first 13, these are very solid and iconic. And I totally agree that what Emma and Will were doing was completely wrong. It doesn’t matter if she’s pregnant or not, they’re still married! If I had to make a guess as to why Ryan started AHS, he wanted to capitalize on glee’s success to boost other projects and he did have LOTS of help with those. Also I get the feeling that he is a bit ADHD and gets easily distracted by the best shiny thing that comes his way. Lots of his shows start off great but decline as time goes on. Scream Queens is a good example and AHS is the best example of that. Except for Pose. That show is immaculate. And while I do really enjoy seasons 5 & 6, you’re right that these earlier seasons just had a different vibe to them. There’s a reason as to why Ryan said that the time during these first 13 was the best time of his life. Also does anyone think that Ken’s last-minute proposal speech wasn’t bad?! Not to mention he got her a ring that she might actually like based on her interests. Very sweet. I feel bad for him honestly.
