Fun fact: Chandler says that he went to boarding school with 400 boys. Prior to moving to LA at the age of 15 to live with his father, Matthew Perry lived with his mother in Ottawa, Canada for several years, during which time he actually did briefly attend a boarding school with approximately 400 boys at the time. I honestly don't remember what I thought about the Barry situation back when I first watched it but I suspect I thought the same as you. That maybe she'd go back to him in an episode or two and that would be it. I was just pissed he ruined the moment for Ross (even though Ross was being a jerk for most of the episode). Also, it's funny how much you read into that kiss and how you're so pissed about it 😆

2024-06-12 17:56:33 +0000 UTCThe first time I watched the series I started out somewhere a couple or so seasons in. So, I didn't go back and get caught up on the earlier ones until later. So in this particular instance I didn't have the question of if she was going to choose to go back to Barry or not, because I already knew what happened a ways out. I don't even think I was allowed to watch it when it first started as I was in... Middle school? I believe. I can't remember when my mom started being ok with me watching it with her. I don't think my dad agreed. 😂 Of course, there's a lot of sex jokes and stuff that I didn't quite get at the time. It was definitely different watching back later as an adult. And then the closer I got to their ages and relating more to things. I think they hinged a lot in the gaps between episodes of people forgetting details. It was definitely a show that came before people would binge watch episodes altogether and notice plot lines that went nowhere, details that change (like characters ages/birthdays and the passage of time is strange and inconsistent). Things that where you would see one episode a week or less you probably either wouldn't notice or have forgotten about.

2024-06-12 17:54:58 +0000 UTCSee lol I tried to warn you about the Phoebe Joey thing lol🤣🤣 they never address it again😭 but as far as the question I’ve seen this so many times but watching from ep 1 to this ep I don’t think she would go back to him because of all the reasons she ran out on the wedding and left him not to mention him cheating on her with the woman he was just about to marry. The thing with Ross as you’ve probably noticed so far with his character with anything he does lol his timing sucks 🤣 he’s always so close yet so far🤣🤣
