Also, while I do think Nellie was a little awkward and detached from the group, I also think they were ALWAYS planning on having a bottom six and they had to stretch their reasonings because of that.

2024-05-16 05:12:01 +0000 UTCLast episode I was kinda in the middle about Charlie but leaned a lot more towards agreeing with you. This week I'm kinda in the middle but lean a lot more towards agreeing with the mentors. What I do agree with you on is they need to give notes in the moment, and they didn't see to really give him a note about it, just like Nikki in the last episode didn't show she had a problem with how he was acting in the booth while it was happening. And I think it's important to remember that the contestants aren't necessarily trained actors. In a professional shoot though, I would also have a problem with an actor with a small/ensemble role going as OTT with character work, and if I was the director I probably would say something about it. Especially when the camera isn't rolling, I don't find it funny at all. I absolutely see how it came off with making it about him.

2024-05-16 05:11:06 +0000 UTCI do feel like they are overly hard on Charlie. I have no idea why they put him in the bottom this week. Mario needed to go. I feel like he would be hard to work with because of his attitude. He has an amazing voice, he’s extremely talented…but his attitude is just not it. He doesn’t seem to work well with people. At least not in this show.

2024-04-30 15:05:54 +0000 UTCMy overall favorites are Nellie, then Charlie, then Abraham. I relate to Nellie so much! Plus I love her voice! My favorite this week probably would be Aylin too. My bottom 3 before the duets were Blake, Mario, and either Abraham or Michael. Ab didn’t do great vocally but where was Michael? Because at least Abraham was more memorable in the MV. Blake really did poorly up until the end. And I always forget about Michael. I never remember him when going on the contestants in my head and he just fades to the background. My bottom 3 after the duets are Mario, Abraham, and probably Ali. because she did forget the lyrics. And I agree with Mario going home. There are a lot of good blind actors out there but he is just not there yet, though his vocal tone is one of my favorites. I agree with you that I don’t see the problems the mentors of projecting. If Charlie was truly making the MV all about himself to the degree that it would be a problem, I’m sure the other contestants would have said something about it. Which the editors would have kept in to prove the mentors point. But they didn’t because there’s nothing there. 🤷🏼♀️
