2024-03-29 20:10:19 +0000 UTCMy homework assignment winner: Abraham, Ali or Dani honestly My top 3: Ali, Aylin and Blake (or Michael) My #1 overall: Ali My bottom 3: Same - Dani, Tyler and Lily Who I would have cut: Dani It's crazy how good the HWA is and how bad the music video is. Overall I think Ali was the best but Abraham killed it in the HWA (along with Ali, Dani, Aylin, Mario, Blake and Michael). I liked Lily's LCP but her attitude is so off putting. Tyler was definitely better than last week and he would be a great character on Glee but I just don't think he's ready to be on a show like this at this stage in his life. I also still don't really like his voice. To me, Dani is the most likeable out of the three but they seemed to have one of the hardest time with the dancing and moreso that performance was not good (even though there was no dancing involved), which I think really did it. I think they would've taken what they said and actually worked on it if they had not been eliminated instead of bitching about it like Lily, but I still think they made the right call. Btw, Dani was an extra in Glee S4E14 "I Do" (at Will and Emma's non wedding) and a year prior to this they made it to the Top 48 on America’s Got Talent. Following TGP, they have starred in The Civility of Albert Cashier, a musical about a real-life trans Civil War soldier and they co-wrote and directed a short film, Shooting Star. They are also one of the creators of an anti-bullying campaign called "Be More Heroic", along with Ali whom they also dated from 2012-2015. Dani identifies now as non-binary. As for Taryn, I wasn't surprised either. But they didn't give us the whole story. I can't find a link to the actual intervew but just before filming her grandmother died of cancer and shortly after her cousin died in a car crash. That was the deciding factor in her decision to leave the show. Also, while I think Ali did amazing on that high note, I was SO proud of Mario for standing up for himself. It's really hard to do that and especially at such a young age and around so many passionate people who all go for that they want. Lastly, a transgender MALE? Correct me if I'm wrong but that doesn't make sense to me.
