i feel like alex really grew on glee to become more versatile but i agree with you that they needed more experienced people and i think they learn from that in s2. thinking about it now there was literally nothing behind samuel’s character joe in glee. at least damian’s character had moments where i felt like he fit in and was funny but samuel’s character was just completely boring and his acting was so bland.

2024-03-09 22:48:40 +0000 UTCMy HW assignment winner is Lindsey. She sounded great and her acting is the best out of the 4. But I agree about not wanting to root for her. I don’t see much of a character for her besides a Rachel Berry dupe. I can tell that she wants to be more real but I’m not sure if she’s as ready as she wants to be just yet. My overall winner is probably Damian. He sounded great during the song. Apparently he can do rock, not just jazz or folk. Who knew? He’s definitely not the best actor but you still want to root for him as he is so positive and willing to listen and learn. Like Hannah. He always has a good attitude and I’m glad he got to shine on that last song. He really stepped up this week. If I would send someone home, it would be Samual as well. I totally agree that he’s very one note and I just don’t root for him, in fact I never did. On glee I think he did a better job and maybe part of him being forgettable was the writing, but Samual is just boring to me. Same with Damian with the writing, they kind of forgot about them after a while. (BTW, I’ve always wanted to see Chris/Kurt perform Funny Valentine. Think it would be great.) Despite knowing spoilers, I didn’t except this! I’m glad it happened though and it makes sense as they are all on the show which only finale contestants got to do. I can’t wait to see the whole cast next week! At least I think they are in the audience during the performances. I wonder if the contestants get to pick the song they perform or not? Overall, I think this was my favorite episode yet!
