Great video, I loved your reactions! I think you'd love the LEMONADE Film that accompanied this album - it's a great visualization of the album with more poetic context added by Bey, and it's simply a cinematic masterpiece!

Yes!! You are right!! they did spend a lot of time in therapy. Jay Z said it in an interview. Both did their best for the sake of their family. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

I don’t know if anyone’s already said it, but the lady at the end of Freedom talking about turning her lemons to lemonade was Jay Z’s grandmother on her 90th birthday celebration. Also, it was so fun seeing you being confused by the Sorry demo lol That’s why it’s a demo! Haha It was released long after the album was. Lemonade came out in 2016, but it was put on streaming for the first time in 2019, coinciding with the three year anniversary of the album. That’s when she added the song and when fans first heard it. To be fair, it’s a pretty complete demo to the point where it sounds like a real song - I wonder if the original demo actually sounded like that or if they buffed it up for release. Either way, it was clear that this was the foundation for Sorry, although instead of “I ain’t sorry” being at the center of the song “Big homie better grow up” seemed to be at the center. And, of course, a lot of the music changed and ultimately the Sorry we got fit into the album more and slotted nicely between don’t hurt yourself and 6 inch. This Sorry demo probably would have been successful after Daddy Lessons and before Love Drought.
