I think you're forgetting that Cora didn't have a heart technically. All the evil stuff she did is because she didn't have a heart, she ripped it out. That's why if she had her heart, there is a extremely high chance she wouldn't have been evil. Regina is actually far more evil than Cora because she did all those awful things while having a heart. Also as to Henry, I agree he could have more structure but his character is there to be technically the voice of reason. He wanted to get rid of magic because he saw the way it negatively affected everyone he cares about. And I do think he has every right to be upset with Emma for lying about his father. While I do agree he shouldn't be disrespectful, Henry is hurting. Every child has the right to know who their parents are. Understand completely why Emma didn't tell him because she was hurting, but it definitely was a selfish move as a parent because she thought of her own feelings and not Henry's. I don't know, maybe I'm just biased because Henry is my favorite character.

I have watched this show a few times and the first time I think I was like half way through the third season before I liked her. Now I like her from pretty much the first episode knowing what will happen.

2024-02-10 23:03:44 +0000 UTCThe scene between Regina and Snow is probably one of the best acted scenes on the show, like ever. They both played that scene SO SO well. I loveeee it. Also, I think watching it back -- having watched and analyzed scenes and episodes of this show many many times -- having already seen Regina become a better person over time and struggle through heartbreak after heartbreak over 7 seasons -- I have a lot more empathy for her earlier on than I did watching it the first time. So I get where you're coming from. I think you're totally valid (if not expected) to not really like her yet lol. It's gonna take a painfully long time for her to not continually make mistakes (she's literally like the magic version of an addict), but it makes the reward of her becoming a better person way more realistic and way more worth it tbh cause it doesn't happen over night. That being said she was always my favorite actress from the beginning just cause her evil side is so truly iconic, and she's just bewitching on screen
