Game Diary: 005

Hello everyone! As you might have seen in my last poll I was talking about stretch marks and cellulite. That pull was spurred on by a kind of weird idea I had, but first lets talk about hair. Hair is something that I really hate writing for and doesn't really change beyond its how well kept it is. So, I decided to make a system that I can store hair descriptions is and then reuse them in other descriptions to save on time and I'm not going write the same damn hair description along with its variants for every default(human) description. So, what does this have to do with stretch marks and cellulite?

Well, I decided the way I'm going to work on descriptions from now on is I'm going to write them in a way that fits most scenarios I could see. Then I'm going to though and add the details and slobbly alts and other alts. This way I can push out content, get feedback and bug test all while I add in alts and what not. This (in theory) should stop me from getting burned out from working on the same description for like 7 hours (on average it takes me 3-5 hours to write one body description and its other race alts). But we'll see how this system works out in practice.

This next paragraph is just about my personal life so feel free to skip if you don't care for a lore drop. So, recently I've been dealing with a very stressful issue that have been weighing on my mind for some time. It thankfully somehow managed to resolve itself in the best possible way. Moreover I'm very fortunate to have this Patreon which will allow me to absorb this financial blow. So, yeah, that's why I haven't made my goal of finishing 1 description every 1-2 days. Anyways, thank all of you so much.

Lore drop over. Anyways lets get back to yapping about the game. So, I should be able to finish all the pear descriptions by the 13th of this month and from there the alts should only take another week. Then I'll be gone on a trip for a bit, which will kind of fuck up my work flow, but I need a vacation so, yeah.

Once I finish up the player descriptions I'll be about half way done with the writing portion of the stuff I want to get done before I put out a real first demo. Though maybe I'll keep the demo to just the bedroom, idk, I haven't decided on what the first demo should contain. Anyways that's it for this game diary, till next time.
