Yeah, Hollywood is usually like that but even Glee was stretching on that. Even te guest stars would say they were ask to learn something overnight or a few hours before filming. Like Gwyneth said that she was requested to "play the guitar"on Landslide and she had to learn the chords a few hours before. John Stamos wasn't going to sing Hot Patootie but he was asked a day before. The music producers and arrangers were the unsung heroes here but they were used to arrange, produce and record songs in 24 hrs or less.

2023-03-21 07:44:20 +0000 UTCNot super soon but most likely during the summer sometime. I'll need to build up the momentum on the YT channel again. Truthfully everything is waiting to see how the little mermaid does

2023-03-20 05:20:38 +0000 UTCThe ad libs you were talking about are definitely Rachel because I recognize the winey cry. Amber joins in towards the end and finish them off.

2023-03-20 01:38:23 +0000 UTCThat part you said seems to be a blend of Lea's and Amber's vocals. Now, they had some professional studio singers doing backups so it could be Lea and one of them. The way they worked with the songs is that producers used the pro singers to create the guide for the actors and would record what they should do vocally. Then the actors would go to the studio and record whatever they had to in less than an hour most of the time. Once they were filming they would listen the final version and learned their parts so, sometimes the audio doesn't match their lipsynching because they didn't really have the time to study them. Sometimes someone is singing and the camera is on the wrong person. The production was very chaotic because of deadlines and delays on the script mostly. They say that in the first season they would rehearse choreos for weeks and by the third season on the very same day and usually for songs it happened the same.
