Gobbo After Dark

Hey there everybody!

This week, I'll go fast! First, this week, I've worked on this background for the door to Alex's apartment:

As you might expect, it comes in 3 variants (day, sunset, night) and has some additional elements meant to be layered on top of it. The relevancy of those will become clear in Chapter 2, and the day/night variants will also come into play depending on how you end Chapter 1 with Elena (as you'll remember, Alex will have the choice to stay with her or to go back home in the night).

Aside from this (which admittedly took me a while longer to make than I would've expected) I've been working hard on the writing of Elena's new conversation segment.

My goal is to tone down the low-key vibe that Alex is some kind of predator trying to manipulate and drug his female friend with some experimental serum. I mean, there always was consent, but it also was very manipulative...
I'm trying to make the evening sound a bit more casual.

Although I haven't done a lot of progress on the additions to Elena's inspection segment (not enough to showcase anything anyway), I did put out this animated loop:

I hope this pleases you! Later in the afternoon, I'm going to get back to writing. I'll be honest, it's really hard to get into the right mind-space to write this stuff.
