Brit is an idiot, and he really has no credibility about her zero tolerance for bullying when she ignorance Santana's satanic level of terror she inflicts on everyone at the school.

Yea it’s not the nicest that everyone laughs at Brittany, but then again that’s part of the comedy of the show and not real life. I really enjoy her saying the random dumb things. If she got smarter then I would miss it… and it’s all about me right? 😂

like yeah Brittany is so dumb and it's kinda fun but it's so sad how everyone around her is taking advantage of her.. especially from people as close as Rory, who's living at her house, or Santana that is literally her gf.. can't stand Santana in s3 until the later episodes.. she's.. so annoying? and even meaner than before? like yeah it was fun for 2 seasons but like you're still in glee club so i guess you like doing it and being friends with them.. she's rude for absolutely no reasons, to everyone.. and maybe she's not rude with Britt, but she's still manipulating her like she did in s2 when she was cheating on Artie with her. like yeah Finn and Artie called her an idiot, Rory used her, but like the one treating you the most like an idiot is right besides you.. that's sad
the Shelby storyline is so annoying too haha i'm truly a start of s3 hater but outside of the performances, i literally hate everything about the first half of the season! Quinn, Puck and Shelby's storyline is very dumb and unnecessary to me

Audrey these Glee watch parties continue to bring me so much joy! Had to find my way over to Patreon for the better experience :) Fun fact: Darren and Kevin (Blaine & Artie) were featured in Katy Perry's music video for Last Friday Night. This happened because Darren's version of Teenage Dream was such a huge hit- and you'll see there is no shortage of Katy Perry songs on the show! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlyXNRrsk4A

Your reactions and facial expressions to Santanas rants/insults to people is one of the funniest things! Your reactions make me actually laugh out loud and make me feel like im watching glee for the first time all over again

I feel the Shelby/Puck romance wasn't a necessary step, but I'm one who doesn't actually mind the Quinn drama in season 3. She's never been super stable as a character, and being shown something that was originally hers in a state of "why can't I win just once" like she was at the end of season 2 could pretty easily lead to her overreacting and overreaching like she did. I don't mind the Puck stuff, mainly because they point out he's 18 and the whole situation is a major deal. No spoilers, but the show doesn't romanticize the pairing.
All that being said, I do feel the Quinn and Puck plots are the weakest of the season. Season 2 was the best season, quality-wise, but I think season 3 was the best, plot-wise. At least it wasn't a rotating love triangle for 14 episodes.

The actor played Rory name is Damon McGinty he is also in the group Celtic Thunder you should react to when he sings the song Home

They actually had two winners and two runner ups. However 3 of the 4 ended being on Glee more than what they were told as Alex Newell was only supposed to get 2 episodes but then eventually became a series regular. Samuel Larsen and Damien McGinty were only supposed to be on 7 episodes but they appear throughout the season and Samuel Larsen is also in season 4 and 5. Cameron dropped out but I don't think he was ever going to win the show as he just always seemed to uncomfortable doing the things he just wasn't going to get eliminated in that episode and therefore saved his friend Damien McGinty (Rory).

i'm not such a fan of this 3x04-3x08 run.. so many storylines and characters i started hating bc of this.. and some are still annoying me today while watching haha! and while i love the troubletones performances, i can't stand their storylines and how they were formed/the drama around it. at least the songs are good!

yes Like many already answered Rory was one of the winners. I love his voice because it is perfect for old goodie music but I truly don-t know what was the plot that the writers created for him and is such a waste of time! since he won, one would think that it would have been something so much better, but no... Don-t worry the second half of the season gets better with the other contestant participation (and my personal favorite to win the glee project) oh and soon will end that weird relationship between puck and Shelby

I enjoyed the Glee Project and they do utilize Alex Newell a lot once they come on the show. Plus it introduced us to the amazing talent of Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell and because of that I will always love the Glee Project.

All of the drama starts to get amped up in this episode. So many things wrong with the Puck/Shelby storyline...I feel like they could have done such better things with Idina Menzel than that...but there is a reason why I see this happening the way it did, which I won't comment on at length at this time because I don't want to spoil anything for future episodes.
I continue to be in awe of Naya's acting abilities and how she is able to deliver those lengthy monologues laced with insults and one-liners with such a straight face. Her co-stars often said that she would be given pages of dialogue and would memorize them moments before they filmed and would always deliver them flawlessly.
Let the drama that is season 3 really commence now...if you thought the West Side Story audition stuff was too much, you ain't seen nothing yet

It’s funny that you thought that “It’s Not Easy Being Green” sounded like “What the World Needs Now”. They do sing it, though, but it until season 6 but you can’t react to it yet because spoilers! Quite a difference between Kermit the Frog and Burt Bacharach. 😂

On the last episode, I was thinking that the feud/diva-off plots were getting stale (kind of like the love octagon, lol), but I'll take the feuds or love octagon any day over the super creepy Shelby/Puck/Quinn stuff.
Weirdly, I think the bizarre baby drama plot may have potentially worked in season 1 when the show was very clearly a parody, but by season 3, the tone of the show had changed.

Nothing against Rory or his voice (honestly, he has a great voice), but glee is already juggling a lot of characters and storylines by this point (and not always following through on the stories). Forcing in new characters and giving them a lot of screentime/songs on random weeks just isn't something I'm a fan of on the show.

I try to block out the Puck/Shelby storyline completely and just focus on how freaking adorable Santana and Brittany were in this episode. Santana wanting to hold Brit’s hand in public and then panicking, man I sure felt that! We also got The Troubletones first number and Mr. Schue realizing that the New Directions were in trouble and it was his fault.

The character Rory is Played by Damien McGinty who was tied for first place with Samuel Larsen (We meet him later on in the season) Lindsay Pearce (Who was in the premiere) and Alex Newell (who we meet later and also plays Mo on Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist) were both tied for runner up. My problem with Damien McGinty (Rory) is I do not think he is as good as an actor as everyone else and you see it more in future episodes as the winner got to be 7 episodes (however both winners were in more than 7 episodes) and the runner ups were given two episodes but Alex Newell was got more.

Yeah, him being 18 does not help. She is a teacher and he is a student. Flip the roles around. Would they be okay with it if Shue had something with Rachel? They even had an episode that was so awkward about that very idea in season 1 (1? I think 1...) where Rachel had a crush on Shue. It's gross. Student, teacher regardless of age, I agree with you it is gross and unnecessary.

That character came out of nowhere and for no real purpose at all. The creator of the show was just a psycho that liked to threathen the cast to replace them with other random people. That Glee project was just a waste of time and resources for everybody involved. The new characters lead to nothing but confusion in Glee but they take time for songs that aren't even cool. The only good thing in ths ep is The Troubletones performance and that Brittana are finally a couple and even that was a pretty underwhelming scene.

I truly loved the Troubletones, I think this group is one of the best choices made by the glee writers. They have some great songs coming up.

Season 3 is messy af and where the show really loses the plot. There’s more inconsistency than usual with the characters, unnecessary drama when communication could’ve solved the situation, and awful song selections. It’s probably why I became more of a passive watcher after this season.

There are a lot of strange storylines in season 3. I've never understood why everyone has it as their favourite season. I think that season 4 and season 5 are overall a lot better. For some reason the writers did a lot of weird things in season 3, the Puck and Shelby relationship one of them. Also I hated the Irish stereotypes with Rory. But the songs are good. 😂

Yeah I feel like this season is where the unnecessary/crazy storylines started to really come out. Not that it makes it any better whatsoever, Puck is supposed to be 18 apparently. It's still incredibly gross and unnecessary

Love Rory's voice! I'm so sad that you don't know Kermit the frog's song It's Not Easy Being Green though!!
I absolutely hate the ending. I had, and still have the same reaction. Hate it. I can see it from Pucks side, but there is no amount of loneliness or vulnerability that would let Shelby do anything with a student. I say this like this is a real person that I know well, but that is just gross. No... the writers were really scraping the barrel with that one!!

Yeah I hate the Quinn/Puck/Shelby situation. Quinn went off the rails for no apparent reason and Shelby and Puck kissing was so wrong.

They didn't actually choose a runner-up in season 2, they stuck to their guns and only picked one winner that time. They just put Ali on the show anyway.
Honestly for Glee Project season 2 I think Ali clearly would have been a much better choice, or Aylin.

There was a reality competition show called The Glee Project where the winner won a role on Glee! It ran for 2 seasons! In Season 1 there was a tie with two winners: Samuel Larsen (Joe, who you will meet soon) and Damian McGinty (Rory)! There were 2 runner ups who also got to be on Glee: Lindsay Pearce (she was the girl Rachel and Kurt met at the NYADA meet up) and Alex Newell (who you know from Zoey)! Season 1 took place between Season 2 and 3 of Glee! The second season took place between Season 3 and 4 of Glee! The winner of Season 2 was Blake Jenner (Ryder) who you will meet in Season 4. The runner up was Ali Stroker who got to be in an episode in Season 4!

Oh look, it's Mercedes perfectly executing choreography. Who would have thought?
Also, Santana's quip at Blaine would have been good, if the New Directions actually won Sectionals last year (I mean they totally should have but) they tied and they tied with Blaine's group.

Troubletones are awesome, but here's where the character changes start to dial up to a thousand. Trouble indeed. And yes Rory's actor is from the Glee project. Little random insert but I always found his voice very soothing.

The Troubletones being created is one of my favorite things that happened on Glee. The covers they do are top teir for me. I still go back and listen to those covers especially "Rumour Has It/Someone Like You" (which you already reacted to).
