2022-07-12 10:17:12 +0000 UTCSo back story, Quinn had short hair at the end of Funeral, the producers got pissed because she cut it without telling them, another reason they all had issues with each other, wasn't just the contract dispute, they hid her short hair with extensions for most of the last show because she did cut it in the middle of filming, towards the end of filming actually. You can see the short hair in the scene where Quinn was talking to Santana and Brittany, extensions didn't really cover it up well. So they had to write it into the script to let her have short hair and have it make sense. At the start of the next season, you can see how the producer's feelings towards Dianna Agron have affected their writing. What they did to Quinn's character was horrible. It makes no sense and kind of pisses me off a little. Ashley Fink (Lauren Zizes) said that when she, Lea, and Chris went to the Gershwin to tape, they were in the elevator and were all in a state of awe that it was actually happening. The song they sang in that scene was to cement their now friendship. Rachel and Kurt were almost inseparable in seasons 3, 4, and 5. The theater that Will Schuester went to was actually in San Francisco not New York as well. I don't know if anyone noticed this, but during the scene in the library, Finn was playing with his snow globe he played with throughout the show, he was playing with it most of the time he was talking to Rachel, then somehow Rachel ended up with it but it was never shown if she took it, or if he handed it to her, but she somehow landed with it. Then they stood up and walked to the Last glee club meeting, and the snow globe was gone.

I'm from Scotland and all through high school I knew I wanted to act, I even went to college to study acting and performance. In my second year at college I dropped out as I realised it wasn't for me anymore, I liked it more as a hobby than a career, all the fun had been taken out of it for me. I worked for years in retail, but they gave me summers off to go to America and work in a summer camp as a camp counsellor, teaching drama. Which brought all the joy back for me, having fun and being silly, while passing on some lessons I learned in college was amazing for me. I'm now in a completely different career as a Flight Attendant, which I love, but basically as you said, you never know where life will take you, so don't always be set out with the plans you made in school.

2022-07-08 03:22:45 +0000 UTCLea actually sang "for good" with Kristen Chenoweth live in 2014! you should check it out :) full circle from Kristen and Idina both singing this song originally, then playing in glee, then the song being covered by glee and THEN Lea and Kristen performing it live together (and she's singing her glee mom's part lol) during that live performance Lea shared that Kristen was there for her when Cory passed and told her that "music will heal everything" and i think that's beautiful :)

Season 3 has some wacky moments, but it’s the last great season in my opinion, and I may be biased because it’s a great Finchel season lol. This competition for season 2 was probably my least favorite song wise, I just don’t care for Pretending or Light Up the World all that much, but others do so I won’t begrudge them that. Season 3’s competitions are my favorite. The thing with Finn and Rachel is that they make a good high school couple and they’re nice look at, I just feel like realistically they would not have lasted. I think Rachel, being very type A, would have been annoyed by Finn eventually, who is more relaxed. But it is television so not realistic lol. I would like to point out, Finn/Rachel’s on screen dynamic changes based on how Cory/Lea’s relationship changes. They feel more intimate on screen, their kisses are more open-mouthed than not, which is not a traditional screen kissing thing. I notice these things ok? Lol I remember when they filmed this in NY, it was the first time Glee had filmed in public and about 200 people showed up to watch lol. Can’t wait for your reaction to Glee Live! It was a great concert! I saw it in person at Staples center in 2011, as well as the first concert in 2010. Seeing Don’t Rain on my Parade in person just hits different ❤️

I just love seeing Chris Colfer's face and thinking about how he was a little 20 year old from a tiny town who'd dreamt of performing and he finally got to do it :) And then the I Love You scene at the end with Blaine is so sweet, Blaine literally has heart eyes 😍 I totally agree with what you say at the end. I left uni at 22 with a love of languages but didn't know what job I wanted, so I just did a load of random things including admin, retail, teaching etc. and it took til I was 26 to get a permanent job in an industry I love. But I'm still not sure this is what I want to do forever but I wouldn't be afraid to try something new if the opportunity came up. You've just got to follow what you enjoy and learn something from every opportunity you get.

When I was a kid and teenager and in my early 20’s I wanted to be a pop star as well and be an actor but then I was working in retail and working my way towards becoming a supervisor with keys and working in entry level management but I was also interested in healthcare at the same time and was going back and forth between nursing and management and now finally I’m working full time as a nursing assistant and about to start my pre-reqs for nursing school to become a nurse. So now finally when I’m in my mid 30’s I know now what I truly want to do and am passionate about.

2022-07-03 16:37:22 +0000 UTCI think the issue is that like you Audrey, Finn wasn’t made for New York City. He’s a small town boy. He doesn’t have huge dreams or ambitions. Realistically, even if Cory hadn’t died, it just wouldn’t have made sense to me for Rachel and Finn to end up together. They definitely learned their lesson about not properly preparing for Nationals. The competition is stiffer with lots of talent, and while they had good songs, they weren’t great. Kurt and Rachel do another Wicked performance at the end of the series. Also, I just love these small moments where Rachel encourages her competition, especially in this case because it shows she does have good sportsmanship. You’re also right on the mark about Quinn. Her parents did her no favours by instilling this need to be perfect and beautiful. And with her dad throwing her out, she was left adrift. In her mind, she probably thought if my own dad can’t love me anymore, how can anyone else?
