With what Danny said. The reason they made the people in the show have high paying jobs is to show that no matter how much you make, everyone has the same relatable emotional problems. With saying that however, these people will never understand the emotional problems that comes from not having money. It's trying to show that wealthy people have problems that are detrimental too.

I missed him!!!! Thank you for your guest appearance!! Also Audrey (sorry if I spelt that wrong) I absolutely love you and thank you for making all of this gorgeous content for us to watch. I'm having a hard time being accepted by my family. I came out as trans about a year and a half ago and they still aren't accepting me. It makes me happy to feel like I'm watching shows and movies with you because you make my day so much better!! ♥

The creator of the show's father had the disorder progressive supranuclear palsy - I will link you to a page on it, but this page has SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW, so DO NOT CLICK IT The page pretty much says that the actor who plays Mitch (Peter Gallagher) watched his mom deteriorate from Alzheimers over the course of 20 years and the creator of the show (Austin Winsberg) based the show after his father's passing. His father went from normal to virtually the state the character of Mitch is in in the span of a year. Austin and his family didn't know how much his father was even processing, and the show was him answering the question of him wanting to know what was going on in his dad's head during that time. As someone who is an empath, people pleaser, and fixer, I feel like I’m already in Zoey’s situation, just without the awesome song and dance breakouts. I have always ended up being everyone’s therapist and dumping ground for their problems with the expectation that I will be able to fix everything. Yes, being trustworthy, compassionate, and solution-oriented are great qualities to have but they are also so draining. I’ve had to work really hard on setting boundaries and not allowing everyone an all-access pass to me.

Thanks for another great watch party. I really enjoyed the breakdown at the end. Also, Zoey’s is available to stream on Peacock (but that may only be in the US).
