I love Amber’s performance of this song. One of the best of the series. Also, loved Mercedes and Sam. They definitely deserved more screen time.

2022-02-22 22:08:44 +0000 UTCPossibly my favorite cover Amber did on the entire run of the show. Also, some background: Amber met with Whitney Houston in preparation for this cover. Then Whiteny Houston passed away before the episode came out. So, it ended up being an incidental tribute. I think they dedicated the episode to her. Also, Mercedes & Sam don't get a ton of focus on the show, but they're one of those couples that just always felt right. Love them.
