Setting up a 360 shot.

Hello!

I'm progressing on that Dalek animation trailer, and I decided to go a bit crazy and try a rotating 360 degree shot. I love doing background animation and seeing insane background animation casually pop up in an anime I'm watching is always a sight to behold:

So I've tried to do a shot with the camera rotating around the characters and the Daleks, which also involved animating the floor, sand dunes, etc. And there's a guy walking then crossing his arms while the camera is circling. It's taking a while (it's 181 frames if you look closely at the image I posted at the top)..!

I should have the finished (animated) shot for you to see next post!

Producer Maki and I have been watching Ranma 1/2 every night (my first time seeing it! There's a channel on Pluto TV that shows it for hours every night:

Its really cool how they just casually throw in really nice bits of background animation. Every episode seems to have some really tasty animated moments.
