X-Wing emergency takeoff!

Hello there and a happy Halloween!

This sequence will receive a few touch-ups: the pilot at 0:02 needs some lines drawing on his vest thing and we need MORE FIRE at 0:11, but it should give you an idea of how things are progressing! I also want to add a quick cut of the pilot flipping some switches and the engines powering up, of course.

You can thank Maki for the smoke at 0:02 when the metal walkways smash into the ground, and the sparks as the debris hits that parked Y-Wing in the bottom right corner! I think it adds a nice bit of character to the overall shot and a nice atmosphere of panic.

One of my favourite bits whilst working on this was at 0:07, animating the X-Wing landing gears retracting... but the whole scene is so fast and chaotic that you don't really have a chance to really notice it!

Anyway, is anyone dressing up today? I hear the best houses give out full sized candy bars...what a luxury!
