Ship Backgrounds

Each week I have to pump out a fair few backgrounds, so here is a batch I did for the current scene I'm working on. I enjoyed the exterior ship shot especially, as I love adding stupid amounts of greebling and detailing to ship hulls and whatnot. I'm always inspired by the spaceship detail art in Project A-Ko (1986) for stuff like this. Incidentally, Project A-Ko is finally, after all these years, getting a super high quality bluray remaster and it looks fantastic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVy_SHnpOqI
The original print was thought to be lost in a fire, I believe, but they just found it. Ancient laserdisc was the best quality available until now.
The reference screenshots I've been working off for the past decade look like this -
It's going to be amazing to see this stuff in super crisp non-blurry 4K glory!
