Hi! I just Joined, but can't seem to navigate where to go? Can someone assist?

I love watching this and seeing the joy it brings to so many! Finally something people get excited over in the crazy world. Keep up the good work Tim and I am so honored to be a Patreon. You do amazing work and here’s to many more exciting moments for you!

That's about as close as you can get. The next best thing is down the road on the beach, but being higher up seems much better since you're barely any closer.

Bradley Gallant

Your joy Tim, and hearing the screams and cheers from all around you, brought fresh tears. I am 73 and this was truly one of the greatest events of my lifetime. Thank you for sharing the joy.

OK, you guys were ready. Good. Your comments? Not so good. We listen, yes, so a little bit less emotion, a bit more factual observation would be better. Think Walter C. Second critique is about camera c/u. If you'd pan out a bit, actual travel, velocity and direction would be evident. Tough to see the flop. Also, why so remote to to the site? If you want to report, BE UNDERNEATH. LOL!

I think that 27 raptors, when stsrship takes off, will blow all the windows out of the appartments , even from your location .

I am joining you.

Awesome shot. I can see how slow it was now! Well done Tim!

This is amazing. Great job as always, Tim and team. In hindsight, I guess it makes sense that without the sideways velocity that it would have from reentry, the nose-high angle of attack that we've seen in every animation would have resulted in it sliding backward engines-first away from the target, but I was completely surprised that it went nose-low to "glide" toward the LZ. I guess the skydiving analogy really does hold up well here. I know it's all speculation at this point, but I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on that flight profile and what the surprises may have taught us about the vehicle's capabilities.

This was SOOOOOOO cool. This angle give a way better perspective of scale and how slow it was in ascent and descent. I love the humor of correcting yourself. And how cool it is to hear people react on other balcony!

This was insane!!!

Such a moment. Is it ok if I cried a little?

Cannot wait for this to one day launch from Canaveral.

I so prefer the degree of emotional involvement you see here vs MSM. Great job as always in sweeping us up with your enthusiasm, Tim.

Great perspective! Really shows how much y’all put into it! Thanks!!!

OMG that audio is awesome.

I'm speechless for the 20th time, at least Great play comment on comment. Hope they will stay on YT release.

Brilliant, love the self commentary subtitles

U're great, guys! I wish somehow we could see what you saw with your bare eyes... I constantly tried to distinguish which pixel in distance is the ship :) :)

What a great view! When I saw the original stream, I didn't really understand your undiminished excitement when it crashed. Now I do :-). Thanks for posting!

I want one that says “It’s a lot further west ...”

Congrats fron Panama! You should make a sweater with your words while raptors reignition: “NO WAY...NO WAY!!!” I’LL BUY THAT FOR SURE!!! Hello from Panama...where the Canal is...

Tim, I watched your video several times with my 2 1/2 year old grandson and he is hooked on rockets now. He picked up on the excitement. When his mom came home he explained the flight to her with his hand floating down towards the ground and he nailed the flip move and he got all excited explaining when an engine shut down and the other one needed more fuel and the final moment when it hit the ground and exploded - he loved that part. I wish I could have got a video of him explaining the flight. Thanks for the enthusiasm - it is contagious even to a small child!

That was a great perspective! Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes video and especially the sounds!!

I watched it live with you! It is as exciting every time I watch it. This perspective is wonderful. Thanks

This is great! Behind the scenes perspective lets us experience this in a way that makes us feel closer (hope that makes sense). Thanks to all of you!

Actually Tim, you got most of the things right. I've seen worse on other streams ;)

The whole thing was amazing, but Tim's reactions made it even better.

Thank you and a we'll earned kudos to your entire crew, the folks at SpaceX and all the educators contributing their time so us space fans can really enjoy this unique and long awaited new platform come into its own!

Unexpected flight profile == way increased confidence in this platform! Fuel pressure from header tank may need some significant redesign to handle rapid orientation change...but they'll make it work.

Awesome to get a real sense of the huge, huge expanse of sound you experienced being there... wow, great work , Thankyou!

Jonny Miller

Great job, everyone! Thanks for all the planning and work to boost the production value of these event captures. It means a lot!!!

James

Thanks for sharing this :)

Tim, I realize that you are a hardened professional but you could have shown a little enthusiasm with the flight. Me, I peed my pants! What a wonderful moment in human history, and we all watched it live. AMAZING!

Bill Colbert

Great job Tim. Many thanks to you and all of your team for such an exciting video. Looking forward to seeing more!

This is great to see your vantage point and get goosebumps all over. Thank you!!

EclecticLlama

Great Job!!! Thank you for making this accessible to those of us who have always wanted this level of information.

Full body chills! Love the behind the scenes!

Tibo

I still love your enthusiasm! Great screen comments lol.

Great job!! Tim you definitely made it better even if u were not correct, it’s tge excitement of a long awaited launch

A well deserved reward for all the waiting (and expense) your team put in. I look forward to the next flight, the one with the perfect landing. Can you and your team do a quick-and-dirty follow up video with the flight profile, if it can be deduced? The apogee, the descent velocity of the skydive, and altitude of the flip. Always wanting more...

The belly flop mode is really a new kind of aircraft - perhaps first since the helicopter. Very well done Tim and team :-).

Robin Hilliard

Given the tenfold increase in joy during the RUD, I think Tim really likes explosions. Fantastic work.

I love this perspective, Tim! I know your plate is pretty full, but please shoot these behind-the-scenes videos for as many launches as you can.

Love it! Great work guys!

From someone who listened to Alan Shepard's flight on a transistor radio in the 7th grade, thanks.

John B. Leonard, Jr.

That is great! We have to get you a room with a clearer view upwards so you do not loose sight at higher altitudes.
