Added 2022-10-16 21:59:01 +0000 UTCI had to do it and Im not sorry! At the time of this post, I have finished installing all of Pai's new dialogue into the updated animatic. This was a MAJOR box that needed to be checked because of course, animation cannot continue without recorded dialogue.
Luckily before we moved from our old place, I made careful notes and selected Michelle's very best takes before uploading them onto the cloud and external hard-drives. Its a good thing I did too since one of my other hard-drives was misplaced in the move.
Suffice it to say, its a good idea to back up as much information as you can on a weekly basis wherever possible. Im not a huge fan of the cloud but admittedly it has its perks!
I cannot say the same for Davinci Resolve's audio support though. Importing audio in this program requires a few additional steps before you can actively use it. For me, it meant manually selecting as many audio files as I had on-hand and labeling them as Stereo files vs Mono. A obtuse annoyance when you're going through each file to select and edit various takes.
Still, editing is among my favorite things to do so I didn't mind that much. Now getting someone to balance the audio is another story. No worries, however. I know a guy ;)
Next up is the updated dialogue for Jarrad and Cham. That will be finished mid-November!
