It feels like Ocean's influence with an emphasis on the environment with an elevated atmosphere. The mother looks more realistic, sickly, and aging. It feels like the art matches the emotional weight and burden of dealing with a family member fighting and possibly losing a battle with a disease and dealing with the aftermath. This feels less idealistic and soft than the old art and more emotionally honest to your writing and the content. It's beautiful!
