This is such a wonderful thing to read, thank you so much for commenting, and especially for buying the book! I am so glad I can share all the animals that bring me joy with the next generation, it's a better feeling than I ever could have expected.

2017-08-18 01:29:10 +0000 UTCAbby -- I just wanted to say that I loooooove Dinosaur Empire so much and I've been reading it at bedtime to my 5-year-old. Every night she says "more dinosaurs please!" or "Mama, it's time for dinosaurs!" I really appreciate how much careful effort you've put in to expressing complex scientific topics in a way that kids can "get" it. We'll have to read it many more times before she really understands things, but it has been AMAZING to watch her learn -- to see the dawning of understanding on her face as she realizes how long dinosaurs roamed the earth and how short human history is, for example. It's an inspiring experience, thank you for making it possible.
