Unfortunately, I thought of this too late for the Q&A, but I would love to hear your thoughts before the last episode of Ahsoka: Couldn't Ahsoka return with her ship, with the hyperdrive (or was this broken? I don't remember). The problem to get to this planet was not the hyperdrive but that they did not know the coordinates. Now they are there, and their ship computer could calculate the hyperdrive route, just as the eye of sion does. I think, the reason that Thrawn could not return was that his hyperdrive was damaged.
