Great discussion. This is a book I was never sure of how much I was enjoying it or understanding while listening to it, but I couldn't stop listening. I'll be thinking about it a lot. I love how they viewed the force as a yin and yang and it reminded me of the different ways Jedi from the high republic view the force. Maybe one day I'll buy a hard copy so I can read it in print as it seems like that helped Jane. Thanks for doing these. Can't wait for the next high republic slate

I appreciate this discussion so much, Alex, shame I missed it. I absolutely loved the book, and it was really cool seeing you guys talk about it!

About the original witch: I think she passed away (can't recall the cause), and instead of becoming a classic Force ghost, she instead merged with/became Rei'izu itself. If you recall that life creates the Force itself, I don't think it's that much of a stretch that a powerful Force user could merge her consciousness with the planet itself. At that moment in the book, there's also the parallel of the original witch becoming a mother; in other words, Mother Earth itself.
Mitchell, Brennan and Jane, I'd love to hear more of your thoughts if you feel like sharing them!
