Just got to reading this yesterday because my comic shop was late getting it but it indeed was a very good first issue. I havn't watched ESB for quite a while so I forgot that there was an implied timeskip at the very end of the movie so I was thinking while reading it that the story was meant to take place after that scene where Luke and Leia look out at the galaxy (so was a little confused how Luke was still missing his hand in this issue). But it makes perfect sense for this issue to take place in-between those two scenes of the movie. Wouldn't be surprised if this entire first arc takes place in-between that particular timeskip as all the characters are wearing different clothes from one scene to the next so you could easily imply a few days to a week or so passed.
